Four Seasons Heating and Cooling

They came out promptly even though it was 10 pm and we were not a regular customer. They diagnosed the problem and came out the next day with the part, even though they already had a full schedule. It was expensive but worth it.

This was by far the worst contractor I have worked with. I do want to preface this review with the fact that my attic is crazy small and it's not an easy job. That being said, we expect to pay extra because of that. On August 5th my drywall ceiling and insulation came crashing down due to a leak from the AC handling unit. I had already paid his company around $400 to stop my handling unit from leaking in 2016. His employee in 2016 had told me this would never happen again. I wanted to offer him a chance to make it right. I should have called a different company. It took him ten days to come back from the initial call to fix it the second time. They never turned on the AC unit to see where it was leaking from. They never fully inspected the unit to see if it was dead or if the internal pan was completely rusted out. They decided I needed a new drain pain and two new drain lines. I trusted that they knew what they were doing. They did not pull a permit or tell me a permit was required for this work. Two employees were at my house all day to complete the work. The next day I had water running all over the side of my house because they did not run the drain lines to the gutter. I had told them I didn't want water all over the side of my house (by my front door) and they said it would go in the gutter, so I agreed to let them plumb it the way they wanted. Well, it didn't. It went everywhere but the gutter. It was dripping on my head as I went in my front door. In addition, the employees cut a larger hole than they told me they were going to (without asking), in order to get the drain pipes into my attic. Then they ran the unit while they went to buy a vent cover, only they left the lines inside the soffit when they left (instead of pushing them out so the water would drain outside). Water was dripping out of my soffit while they were gone, so I turned off the unit, worried it was going to make the attic wet and moldy. When I mentioned this to the employee upon their return, they acted like it was no big deal. When the employees finished up I mentioned calling to get my insulation and drywall reinstalled and the employee looked at me with worry and told me not do that right away. To let it run for awhile in case there were more problems. That should have told me right there that something was not right. I called Mr. Koch to complain the next day about the drain pipe issue. Before I could even tell him what I was dissatisfied with he told me he would come over and tear everything out and give me my check back. I was astonished at this. What kind of business man says that? He said he would not come back unless I paid him more money because he had given me a good deal, job was half price. He was very aggressive with me on the phone. I did not ask him to give me a deal. I did not tell him I wanted the job done cheaply. I told him I NEVER wanted water coming out of my ceiling ever again but apparently, he did not hear that. I was not going to pay him more money to do anymore work. Fast forward 6 days later, came home to the AC handling unit leaking water, not being caught in the pan and the machine not being turned off by the guard dog switch they installed. I called another company to come take a look and they said my unit was shot and that Randy should never have offered to do any work on it. That it's a liability to run it as it is and that there was no guarantee that it wouldn't continue to leak water. And he said that $1,090 was a ridiculous amount to pay for the job. I contacted Randy to ask for my money back and he refused. I offered to negotiate a lower rate with him, pay for materials, he refused. He offered to come and offer a solution for the new problem. My husband told him we weren't going to run the unit anymore because we couldn't afford another drywall ceiling coming crashing down on us. When I mentioned stopping payment on the check he hadn't cashed yet, he said he would put a lien on my house and told my husband he was very familiar with the process. Why is he so familiar with the process? He refused to give me my check back even though a week earlier he had said he would. He ran to the bank to cash the check that day. So now, I'm out the $1,090, need a new AC unit and had no AC for the bulk of August. I would never recommend this company. Save yourself time, money and hassle and hire a different company.

The owner Randy answered my call immediately and was able to give me an estimate the same day. The two guys Steve & Cory that did the installation the following day were awesome. They were professional, polite and I would highly recommend the company.

They were quick and got the job done well for a good price.

Overall great service! The ability to schedule online was quick and easy and they have extended hours which is convenient. The tech was extremely friendly and even arrived earlier than our scheduled time. He was extremely honest as our fix was a simple fix and he easily could have dinked around and charged more. We will definitely use them again!

My older A/C unit went out during a very hot spell this summer. I used their website to schedule a visit and they called me that they could come by earlier. Great! My A/C unit is going bad but the technician, Benjamin, was able to get it running by replacing the capacitor and by adding a 'Hard Start'. He explained that this is only a temporary fix but I was appreciative for his very thorough explanation and the timeliness of the service. Rates are as expected for my area and they do not try to sell you on unnecessary repairs. I have used them twice and they have been exceptional!

I was able to quickly schedule an appoint (within a few days) easily from their web site. The technician was on time (actually called to see if a little early was ok). The technician was able to quickly determine the problem and had a replacement part available in his vehicle and the repair took less than 20 minutes. Overall, I was very impressed with the service. On time, quickly and professionally serviced and at a really reasonable rate. Which is sadly not all that common these days. I'll likely use Four Seasons for any future heating / cooling service.

We are so happy with the service we received from Four Seasons! Our AC was on the fritz, and we knew that we would need a new unit. From the time that we called and talked directly to Randy who gave us an estimate for a new unit within a day, to the end of our installation that same week by Josh and Damien, we were nothing short of impressed. Randy was very professional and didn't pressure us into buying anything bigger than what we actually needed. Josh and Damien were at our condo for over five hours removing the old unit and installing the new one, and saved us even more money than we had anticipated after testing our existing equipment. They were both very knowledgeable and informative when we had questions, and we've been recommending them to all of our neighbors with older units like ours. Thank you so much for your outstanding service! We won't hesitate to contact you if we have any needs in the future.

He's awesome. I liked him a lot. He did everything he said he's going to do and said what he's going to do. We were talking about what size of furnish to get and he said we don't really need a big one and we could get a smaller that is less expensive. He didn't doubt us when he had the opportunity and actually was helpful. He had ample opportunity to take advantage of us and past those all those opportunities up. He really could have charged us extra for emergency call or whatever. He really was fabulous and prompt. He worked long hours. He was super patient with my husband who was hanging over and watching everything what he was doing which I think could also be aggravating as a person who was doing work. He was great.

The work was performed at the same time as the estimate.

They were fantastic! The technician was really nice and diligent. Our house is really old and the electricity is complicated. He stuck with it and was super polite. They were able to fix it and they were just great!
