The whole experience was pleasant and productive. From the time I contacted the company to receiving an email with the last receipts for materials any interactions were cordial and helpful. We took some time between getting a quote and being able to schedule the job, and we received a phone call and an email in between, very polite, with no pressure to schedule. Once the job was scheduled, Chris, who schedules the crews, was diligent about checking in and finding and resolving any of my concerns. While they were working, I found two items that concerned me slightly, and both were resolved rapidly. The crew who came to paint, were kind and careful. They took great care with the prep work, and were just plain helpful. The finished work looks great, the music wasn't loud, and they worked efficiently. They even dealt well with my children when they were around.

Elysium was wonderful and Brian and David were such pleasures to work with. We had MAJOR work to do and they came in with a good price and the most detailed and informative quote I'd ever seen. The work was fast, neat and even though we didn't change too many colors, all the repairs make it look like a new house. I can't wait to have people see it in our X-mas party and would hire them again.

Elysium's crew did a great job on our extensive interior painting job. Chris gave me a fair and detailed estimate, and the final cost came in very close to that number (we ended up adding another room). The careful work on the wooden trim, the special sanding and varnishing work that Craig did on our wooden banisters, and the final, polished look of every room are really top notch. I was also impressed with Chris' conscientious daily check-ins with me and the crew, and with Matt's leadership of the crew on site. The painters got along well with each other, cleaned up after themselves, and were both polite and professional in every way. I will continue to recommend Elysium to friends and neighbors, just as I have since Elysium painted our exterior a few years ago. I was impressed with the exterior job they did for us a few years ago, but this job was far more demanding, and Elysium stepped up to the challenge. Great work ethic and timeliness. No swearing or loud music around the kids. I especially appreciated how--even if a room was only half done at the end of the work day--Elysium's crew cleaned up, vaccumed, and put the room back into usable order. The next day, they'd come right in and put up the dropcloths and move the furniture all over again. This put our convenience over theirs, and was a very thoughtful policy.

They were very professional. I would suggest you pay close attention to the terms of the contract as there is an extra charge for paying by credit/debit card. The employees are very easy to work with and are very customer-oriented.

When I finally decided to hire someone to paint my house for the first time this year, I was afraid. I really didn?t want painters coming in my house and turning it into a worksite. I am usually the kind of person to do it herself; but I just do not have the time with work, family, and recreation. I decided to call you out of pure luck by receiving this cute little paint bucket on my door. I read the caution label on the paint bucket which read ?caution: contents are purely professional? which made me laugh. Believing that you were a professional company with a sense of humor made me completely comfortable. I called the number on the paint bucket, talked to DeEtta and she was just the sweetest customer service representative, just the sweetest. She answered all my questions, was very patient with me, set me up for a free quote and she seemed very much like a good friend. When the estimator arrived as scheduled on time, I was astonished. I have waited days for the cable guy to come to the house, just to set up box. He was very well mannered took time to explain details of the business as well as materials used. He quoted me for a lot less than I thought it would cost for a professional company, so I booked after reviewing your website and doing a little more research on your business, just because I am paranoid. The crew you sent to the job was great, really easy to get along with. If I had any problems with anything they would immediately get to it to keep me happy; and I admit I am extremely difficult to please. I asked them if they could do the inside job one room at a time and there was no hesitation. I am absolutely pleased with the conduct and the work ethic of your employees, they did a wonderful job painting the exterior and interior of my now beautiful home in Ann Arbor.

We never thought we could get quality and speedy painting services at a reasonable price. Elysium?s painters? conduct was better than expected; it felt as if we had family painting in our home, we really appreciate their employees? help. We plan to utilize their painting expertise for years to come. We will be spreading the word about Elysium Painting Company.

Scheduled a visit with an estimator. He did not show up. Rescheduled. He did not show up the second time, either. Elysium was apologetic each time but I did not get the sense the customer really mattered. Both times, I took time off from work.

Very good work overall. They were also very responsive and price was comparable.

It is an older wooden home, and needed a fair amount of prep work. Mr. Landau and Elysium sanded and scraped the sides meticulously, filling any gaps with high-end caulk that has held through the summer and winter (my caulk has cracked in the past, causing water damage). There were some rotten pieces of trim. One of the painters on the crew was also a carpenter, and he custom cut and tacked the new bits in without skipping a beat. The painters moved quickly but methodically, and the foreman Chris walked through the project on a daily basis with me (I am a bit of a control freak :) From the color consultation at the start to the clean up at the end, I always felt like I was in control of my project, but also that I didn't need to be, because Elysium was so thorough and intuitive. This really is a wonderful feeling as a home owner. Overall, I couldn't be happier. The communication was awesome and constant, the workers were polite and punctual, and Elysium has followed up periodically since just to make sure I am still happy. Well, I am. Very much so! Cannot recommend enough!

The crew was very professional, nice and moved all my furniture for me before I even had the nerve to ask. I'm really a stickler for cut lines and during the final walk around I was happy to see the walls and trim were painted perfectly, and I couldn't even tell where the wall had been repaired because it blended with everything so well. I'm going to call them back again next summer for the exterior, because lord knows that since it's not the time to sell, you may as well spruce up the house to keep it's value up.
