A hinge on our ancient garage door came apart, as did one of the rollers after many years of neglect. I didn't get chastised at all! The hinge was repaired, a replacement roller installed, and the whole system was lubricated in less than an hour. I should have done this years ago! Wonderful service.

The guys from Ann Arbor Door are quick to pinpoint the problem and correct it, except for the broken spring which had to be special ordered. They always lubricate rollers and such. Price given is for most recent service call, when animals who broke in through eave vents could not find their way out; their blind panic trashed our gleamingly beautiful storage system, the pride of our neighborhood, as well as the safety sensor.

Motor installation was friendly and timely. We had replaced the garage door 7 years ago and the 20+ year old motor was not working - so this call was for motor replacement. We purchased the belt driven instead of chain (customer service provided us with all the options/details).

Excellent service! I called to explain how urgent since the garage door would not open due to the broken springs and both cars inside so we weren't going anywhere and the long weekend was upon us. They sent out Jimmy the tech who even offered to arrive sooner than scheduled, he replaced the springs and pulleys along with full adjustments, it worked better than new, so quiet, almost gliding to a close. Exceptional service at a fair price, when no one else was available. I recommend them highly, the best service experience since we owned our home, they are the best.

Service was easily arranged for my day off. It went well--I expected an expensive service call and the door was in working order in about 30 minutes.

Well organized, prompt and professional. New motors performed flawlessly with somewhat cobbled preexisting hardware. Most recently one of the old springs broke. I tried replacing only to find that the box store spring tension color coding did not match my old springs?an experiment which nearly ruined my door. I visited the showroom and the whole team rallied to help me find a match for my springs. More effort than most places would muster for a $30 sale (thanks guys). I'm moving forward with replacing the springs myself, but if I run into trouble, I know Ann Arbor Door Systems has my back. I will certainly call them first when it's time for new garage doors.

Everything went very smoothly. The estimate and measurement happened promptly and the installation was done on schedule. All staff was professional and everything done as promised, plus they successfully made unexpected adjustments due the low height of my garage.

We called the company Monday morning and explained we had a car trapped in the garage due to a broken spring. They came out that morning and replaced the broken spring and found the frayed cables and replaced them as well. The technician was on time and very professional.

I had a broken torsion spring that rendered our garage door non-opening, even manually. Staff responded promptly, set up an appointment within 2 days, explained what needed to be done and why. The technician who came out recommended a new garage door too, which he provided reasons for. All the work was done courteously and properly.

When I called about a broken spring coil (extension, they called it) on my garage door, the person on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. They were available to come that afternoon but came next day at my request. Due to the model of garage door I had, they had to order the part (replacement extensions) but had it within two working days and came back right away. The work was done quickly and professionally. The cost seemed reasonable and included the replacement parts. Very pleasant experience all around - and their quick availability was appreciated since it was very cold and thus important to have the garage door functioning well.

They came out to do exactly what I asked them to do for exactly what they tentatively quoted me (the service call charge of $85). They were super speedy, it took them 5 min. Tops! At first I thought $85 plus a tip was expensive for 5 min of work but the truck to get out to the work site, the time, the skillz and strength needed, everything was worth the $85. I probably thought it was pricey as I had been spoiled by other services that charge $65 (plumber) and $30 (appliance repair technician!!!! who was an awesome guy, initially quoted $75 for a service call but ended up charging $30 cause he got the dryer working within 15 seconds!). I also appreciate that they are honest folks and did not try to up sell me on additional services. They could have totally told me that the door needed a and quot;tune upand quot; or new cables, or the opener has kaputt motor or something. But they didn't do any of that. Just did exactly what I asked them to do for a very fair price. Thanks!

After 22 years, the metal had fatigued. It was stopping half way up because of this. They came and looked at it. They said they could repair it, but if it happens again, we may need a new door. They put a steel brace over the whole door. It worked perfectly! They were fast efficient and answered all my questions. He ran it through a few cycles to make sure it worked properly. I called one afternoon and they were there the next day. The response was very quick.

They did a great job. I am very happy with the work they did. The technician was very polite and prompt.

This is the second time we've used Ann Arbor Door Systems. They are a reputable company and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. Both times they were available on short notice. The technician, Kevin, was professional and friendly and explained how to use the garage door system that came with our new home.

I have not used this company for an actual repair, but I was impressed with their customer service over the phone. We were having trouble with our garage door not opening and closing properly. When I called them to schedule a service call, the person I talked to (Chris, I think) first suggested I try adjusting the force setting screws on the door opener to see if that solved the problem. It did, and I saved myself an $85 service call. Thank you....really appreciate such great customer service and I would not hesitate to call them when I need an actual repair.
