Provider started and finished job in less when 1/2 hour. Used leaf blower when necessary to move falling leaves off grass. Was responsive to my questions when I needed to understand how this process worked. Both staff members answered questions.
Description of Work: Mowed front and back lawn.

A.M. Services failed to repair the damage it has done to my property, it failed to return my numerous voice mails, and it failed to conduct itself as a responsible business. And it continues to bill me for services I specifically stated I did NOT want. Because A.M. Services did not return my phone calls, I actually had to type up a letter and snail mail it to them, informing them that I would be terminating my service with them. This summer, A.M. Services' worker destroyed a small boxwood bush in front of my house. It appeared that he or she carelessly mowed right over it with the lawn mower or weedwacker. No note was left for me, no one knocked on the door...the worker just left, and when I came home from work I immediately discovered the damage. I called A.M. Services, reported the damage, A.M. Services replaced the bush, and service continued. I was disappointed with the worker's dishonesty, feeling someone from A.M. Services should have contacted me explaining that they had accidentally destroyed a bush, rather than leaving it for me to discover. Still, I figured it was a one time fluke and that overall I would enjoy a good relationship with A.M. Services. A month or two later, the bush that A.M. Services had planted (the replacement bush) was destroyed (again it appeared to be run over by a lawn mower). Again, no one left a note, no one knocked on the door...the worker just left. I called A.M. Services, reported the damage again, and this time A.M. Services only issued me a $10 credit. The bush cost only about $12 at the local store, and I guess A.M. Services figured I could replant the bush myself if I wanted to have a bush there. My wife and I talked it over and agreed that A.M. Services should replace the bush, NOT give us a credit. We felt that we should not have to go to the store, purchase a new bush, uproot the old one and plant a new bush entirely because of A.M. Services' shoddy work. After all, the reason I hired A.M. Services in the first place was to save me time, by removing one chore from my list. I called my contact (let's call them "Person A") and left message, indicating that preference. My call was not returned. Several weeks passed, I called again, and this time I spoke with Person B. He explained that my call hadn't been returned because Person A was out of the office for an extended time. So I re-explained my preference that A.M. Services return the bush to the condition it was previously in, rather than put the burden on to my family to repair their mistake. Person B said he would check into the availability of boxwood bushes at the local garden stores, and would call me back within a week. We agreed I would not pay the bill I had until this matter was figured out. Several weeks passed. Person B did not call me as promised. I called Person B and left a message on his voicemail. In the voicemail I stated that I was still waiting to hear from him regarding the bush replacement, and that I also was interested in setting up leaf raking/disposal service for the fall, but I just had a question or two regarding that service. Several weeks passed. My call was not returned. I called A.M. Services and left a voicemail in the "general" mailbox, stating that I've been expecting a call from Person B, that I'm still sitting on a bill, and that I need someone to call me back. I also repeated that I was interested in setting up leaf raking/disposal service and wanted to talk with someone about setting it up. Now we are at the present day. Several weeks have passed since my last call. It has still not been returned. I have also provided my email address but have not received any emails. I also was billed for services that I did not request. When I signed up for receiving service from A.M. Services, in the beginning of the summer, I specifically said that I did not want any lawn cutting service after the end of September. Additionally, my lawn absolutely did not need to be mowed at the end of October. I'm not even sure if someone actually came out and mowed it. All I can say with certainty is that I was billed for it. I have called A.M. Services multiple times and A.M. Services has simply stopped returning my calls..yet it continued to send me bills for new services that I had declined. My relationship with this company turned into a complete headache. The bush that they destroyed months ago has still not been replaced, and they apparently place no priority on fixing their mistake. Frankly they should be embarrassed that their workers have such difficulty discriminating between grass and boxwood bushes, and they should be jumping at the opportunity to fix their mistake.
Description of Work: I hired A.M. Services to mow my lawn once every three weeks. I have a very small property. The charge was $30 per cut.

They did a thorough job. They fixed a leaning gutter and didn't charge me for it. I think their pricing is fair. I will be using them next fall.
Description of Work: I used AM Services to clean my gutters last November.
