Never came out

Lost my initial contact info/appt details. Came out to house after I had to call again. Told me to call him(owner) if did not hear from him after a few days to remind him for my quote. Said they could do job in July. Never heard from him again even after repeated calls to the business and his cell phone. No one ever bothered to call me back!!!! Very inconsiderate. Very unprofessional. We are disgusted with the way we were treated!!!!!

3.5 Days Complete Job Insadently prior to the job Doug Bliss himself came out to inspect for estimate which he completed and mailed in detail the next day complete with copy of insurance and bonding,coverage. Perfect

The work that Doug Bliss performed for our remodel project was done right with no skimping or sloppiness. He and his drywaller (Fred) were prompt and clean. I would hire them again in an instant!

In preparation for our Harrisville United Methodist Church's 150th anniversary our congregation raised funds to have our church sanctuary painted. After asking for referrals from Alpena/Alcona residents and businesses, Doug Bliss Painting was a name that came highly recommended and continued to "pop up". Our church beautification committee decided to contact him and promptly had our call returned. Doug met us at the church, spent a great deal of time answering and asking us questions, demonstrated a real desire to work with us, made recommendations, took measurements of the sanctuary, etc. Within a short period of time he responded with his written proposal, along with some "extras" he was willing to do for our church. Between the excellent referrals, his estimate, punctuality, and the quality of person he appeared to be, we were impressed and hired him and his crew to do the work. They began the project in a most timely fashion, and were careful with the preparation of our sanctuary, our church schedules, etc. Doug was either on the scene daily joining his crew in the project or supervising/advising. We found the Bliss Painting crew to be respectful of our church, experienced painters, professional, and concerned about doing the job "just right" and owner Doug Bliss a man of character. The painting and cleanup were completed in an amazing period of time and the work was outstanding! The stained glass windows and ancient tin ceiling have "popped", the sanctuary is fresh, and the colors are peaceful. Our congregation is thrilled with the appearance and workmanship that Bliss Painting provided. I only wish Doug Bliss and his professional crew could have heard the "oohs and aahs" when we opened the sanctuary doors on that first Sunday.

We had Bliss Painting in to paint our classroom/conference center at NEMROC, Inc and couldn't be happier with the outcome. We asked Doug (the owner) to stop by to talk about color selection, and finish options since we were looking for something to tie together different aspects of an already existing room, and were also concerned about the ease of upkeep. Not only was he very helpful at the beginning of the process, but his painters were quick, efficient and respectful to both our facility and our employees. We would use them again for a future project.
