This was a Saturday, they began work that Monday and called to let me know when they would arrive. They arrived on time and immediately began work. They were polite, experienced, efficient and didâ nt take all day. I received another followup call to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I was well pleased with the work and would definitely use them in the future. Thank you Detroit City Sweep."

"Though the gutters were cleaned in December after the leaves had fallen, this spring of 2024 the gutters were over flowing!! I texted David regarding this issue he said they check the downspouts using a leaf blower. This spring I noticed no apparent debris from the downspouts being blown out. David said that my house is surrounded by trees and the downspouts are probably blocked again. This is 4 months later!! What would be blocking the gutters from draining. He said he'd come out but would have to charge me again, again for a service I paid for that wasn't completed properly in December. Would not recommend or use again."

"Very well. Contractor was skilled at his trade, drywall was installed, taped, and mudded in a timely and skillful manner. He was/is punctual in keeping appointment and doing the work. Gave an estimate for the job that was reasonable. When done he cleaned up the work area. Jerry did such a nice job that my wife and I will keep his card and contact him in the future for home remodeling projects."

They were supposed to be finished by I am giving one star because your inept platform will not let me give a 0. I am in the negative. 0 would be a step up"

"We have used His Workmanship 2 times with completely different experiences. The first could not have gone better! The crew was exceptional—such hard workers! With this in mind we had very high hopes for this recent visit; however, we could not be more disappointed. This crew did not seem to accomplish a whole lot in the 3 hours. Their work was sloppy—they left trimmings all over the porch and bed, and bushes were not cut cleanly (lots of uneven pieces sticking up). They did not even bring any equipment. The most frustrating part however was how things were handled from there. The His Workmanship website states very clearly that ALL email is answered within 24 hours—Eric, the owner, has always been quick to respond in terms of questions about coming out for a job, and yet, when we emailed him (2 times!) asking to discuss this recent less-than-stellar performance he completely ignored us! It’s been 2 weeks and no word whatsoever. This is unacceptable customer service! Sadly, it seems, they only respond when it profits them. If we could have had a simple conversation, the company might have kept our loyalty and business! As it stands we are upset and especially disheartened from this experience—this is NOT a good reflection of HIS workmanship!! We honestly chose this company because they stand apart as an upfront Christian organization. We really love what this is supposed to be based on! The whole premise of the company leads us to believe they have integrity and are a service that stands by its work, is trustworthy, and one that treats its customers fairly. How very disappointing to be treated otherwise. From this experience we would NOT recommend using this company!"

"Read this if you are considering them!!! I decided to go ahead and purchase 6” gutters and told the salesperson "I would like to move forward”. I was told a scheduler would call me the following week to set an installation date. They never called to schedule an installation. The following Monday morning (around 8:15 am) I was getting ready for work and I heard a faint knock at my front door. The doorbell wasn’t used, so I looked to see who it was. To my shock, a crew was in my front yard, with ladders and boxes set up. I had NO appointment set, no contract signed (they emailed me an agreement which all parties needed to sign but we did not even get to that point), no deposit made, and no knowledge of a crew coming over to my house. I immediately asked them to stop and put the scheduler on the phone. Next I get a call from the owner and he started talking about traffic on I-75 when I asked what was going on. I asked this man how they could just show up without an appointment after having told me this was the next step. In addition, I told him we had a 9 am work ordinance and if they had called and properly scheduled an appointment I would have discussed this with them. I was given no clear answer to my scheduling question so I told them to leave immediately. This type of thing is not supposed to happen in real life."
