We have hired them a couple times. They turned out perfect! We plan on using them again.

I looked on angie's list for a company that can work with my budget and designed renovation worked with me and tried to stay within my budget. Rob and Zack came to my home took measurements they listen to me. But what impressed me was when Rob asked how much do you went to spend? Then they went an priced the materials and sented me a copy of the draft. They kept me inform of how the work was coming, they adjusted their work schedule according to my threapy schedule. The renovation lasted about two weeks.My bathroom in my basement is BEAUTIFUL, I had told them that I was having trouble with my upstairs bathroom (shower) They took a looked at it told me what the problems was gave me an estimate but said they would have to come back because they were starting a another project. First week on March they came fixed my shower. Now I can take hot showers. My over all experience with Rob and Zack of design renovation was most EXCELLENT 100 Thank you!

Sought out another contractor for both the roof and drywall who did a wonderful job.

However, if we bought the materials through them, we could get a discount. They have a web site where you can look at visuals. They were detailed in asking us what we wanted.

They did a great job. They were very prompt. They were very courteous. They were very reasonably priced. They were out one day, called me the next, and showed up two days later to do the work. They got it done very quickly for me. There is nothing I disliked about them. I liked the fact that they were very well priced. They were extremely punctual. They were very professional. The work they did is quality work. The owner and his partner were very courteous gentlemen. We would definitely use them in the future.

They were really inexpensive. Everything is holding up wonderfully. I have bunch of other projects I can’t wait to have them do. The workers were on time. They were extremely helpful. They gave us lots of extra tips. I needed a lint trap in my basement tub, where the washing machine drains out. They advised me to get one. They gave me extra suggestions. I felt like they were not working for us but was just being helpful. They are going to come back and do some insulation in my attic. They were telling me that my house is very hot. They told us that it will significantly raise our heating bills. They offered to look at the insulation and take care of that. I thought that was pretty awesome. It was pretty cool of them to do that. I wasn’t even thinking about that.

We had a mold issue almost 2 years ago that required the floor & drywall in & around a basement bathroom to be torn out. We had been unhappy with the basement even before that, however. The sink & toilet in the tiny bathroom needed to be replaced & the whole basement was badly designed & poorly executed. We dragged our feet replacing the walls & floor because we didn't really even know where to start. Rob & Zack came in and worked with us to figure out the best course of action. They knew exactly what they were doing and were able to recommend solutions where we had only seen insurmountable problems. First they ripped out an ugly wall of paneling & cabinets and replaced it with a nice wall & door in a much more spatially advantageous configuration. They hung drywall in the walls & ceiling, replacing all of the damaged areas and taking special care to merge it with the areas we weren't re-doing. They replaced a good deal of the plumbing in the bathroom in addition to replacing the sink & toilet. The plumbing was quite old and while they were working on it, they ran into some really nightmarish blockages, but they never complained, they just stayed as late as they had to to get it sorted out. They even installed new lighting in the hallway & built a little box to hide some ugly cleanout ports. We had only planned on remodeling the damaged side of the basement, but when it became clear that we weren't going to be able to join the new vinyl flooring to the old vinyl, they brought in a carpet guy to show us samples & give us an estimate. They moved all the furniture we had on that side (and we're talking about some heavy stuff) so that we could carpet the whole space. Basically we got a totally remodeled basement when we had only planned to fix up part of it. And the cost was about what we had originally planned. While they were here, they also did some work in the kitchen, replacing dishwasher & faucet & running a water line for the icemaker. They did a fantastic job & I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs some work done around the house. Even if you don't know exactly what you want. Where I once dreaded going down to the basement to do laundry, now we love it & even entertain guests there.

Arrived at 7:30a in the morning and job was completed by 4:00p. Kept in contact with me to let me know progress of work etc. This is the second project that Rob and Zach have completed. They will be back again to take on another job. Call them. You will be thoroughly satisfied. Cannot beat their cost. I know I did my homework and had 3 other estimates. Not even close.

They have started doing the work. They quoted $10000 for the work. Their price was the cheapest. They are putting the countertop right now. So far, my experience has been great.

Everything was perfect! The guys are 100% professional and excel in customer service. We were happy to welcome them into our home and got along great because of their easy going personalities. They were also very flexible during the estimate process and made many adjustments to the price to keep us within our budget. Their work is quality and their attention to detail was surprising compared to other contractors that I have worked with in the past. The fireplace remodel required alot of custom work and came out looking amazing. We are definitley going to use them again in the future and will be recomending them to our friends and family.

They were on time and very professional. My husband met with them. We didn't use them as their price was extremely high. The people that we dealt with were excellent. Everything about them was perfect except for the price.

It went better then I expected. I feel I got every pennies worth! Rob took the time to go to stores with me, and show me all my options. He actually showed me blue prints of my kitchen and showed me lots of different ideas. He never once tried to sell me anything I didn't want/need . Which, for a tight wad like me, is a wonderful thing!

My wife and I own two homes a rental property and the home we live in. We have used Design Renovations at both homes several times. The first time we used him was at our rental property for some interior painting,the got three bids he wasn't the cheapest and he wasn't the most expensive,he was right in the middle,after meeting with him my wife felt very comfortable with giving him the job.and a fantastic job they did,they are complete professionals, and are very punctual and hard working. Since then Design Renovations has done my bathroom remodel,my kitchen,and my dining room I see no reason to look anywhere else. In short they are southeastern michigan answer to Mike Holmes.

First I had 2 other companies come in and look at area needing work. There cost was astronomical. Called Design Renovations Rob and Zach came out the next day. Looked at area needing work. Gave me an estimate. I approved. Zach came days later with tile samples. One week later received a call letting me know that tile was in and they started the work on a Wednesday and completed work on Friday. The cool think is that they worked around my schedule totally trustworthy. They were neat and cleaned up the area. I can't say enough about these guys. In fact they will also do my floors in kitchen in the fall. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!

I liked them. I had five companies come out and give me quotes and they were the lowest. They were very polite and they seemed to be very knowledgeable. They just wanted to give me more of a low end installation and were more geared to Home Depot stuff and I did not want a Home Depot bathroom.

They were great. I was very impressed with their quote, their responsiveness, and outstanding communication. I ended up going with someone else who would do all aspects of the job including painting and drywall. They spent quite a bit of time understanding my requirements and examining the job. They got back to me promptly with a very clear quote. It was for around $800. I was pleased with that.

from start to finish the whole job went as planned,it was easy too see that these guys new what they were doing. very good people to deal with. if your looking for a contractor that truly care's about the work they do ,call DESIGNED RENOVATIONS.

Work is excellent. Punctual. Worked well with me on design and objectives. Work completed in a timely manner and very meticiously. Keeps work areas as tidy and clean as possible. Courteous and friendly. So meticious that he removed and re-positioned one tile that was already cemented down because it was minutely off, even tho I did not think this was needed.
