He did a very good job. There were some things he couldn't do, so he got someone else to do it. The plumbing was excellent, we haven't had any trouble at all. He came very quickly. We called him and he came the next day.

Installer was very professional from start to finish. Kept me posted when the water was turned off and when he turned it back on. Informed me of the changes with regard to the new pipe connection and why. Was very cautious when transitioning the new hot water heater into the house and the old one out of the house as to not damage any door floor boards or walls. Did a great job. And, the installation was reasonably priced in comparison to Lowes.

I felt the price was fair and the service was fast. Chuck no longer owns the company but now run by former employee. I think some of the reviews I had mentioned dealing with Chuck directly. I would rate them high for quality of work, the only issue I had was that I have a travertine floor in the bathroom and they advised that tile could be cracked. However, if they would purchase a diamond drill bit, they would not have those issues. I opted not to have the drill and possibly crack my expensive tile, so they tied in and now I have a slow cold water tap in bathroom. More then likely some soder or rust is stuck in the line at tie in under the sink. They did not take the time to unhook and check, so I will have to do that. So did not go the extra mile, but over all I am happy. Copper pipes bang a lot, so I will need to insulate them which is not the plumbers fault, just a fact of life with new copper in old house. The other complaint that I would have is that the new facets they put on the laundry tub and outside spray every where, so I will need buy new facet caps. Would have liked a choice to upgrade. As I stated overall I think they did a good job and would use them again.

As usual, the plumber(in this case, Guy) arrived on time and proceeded to remove the old faucet and install the new one. A few hours after the job was completed I noticed a small amount of water on the floor of the vanity where the new faucet was installed. The water appeared to be coming from around the cold water shut-off valve. Even though it was after 6:00 PM I called and left a message on their answering machine. I received a call back around 8:00 PM from Michael Smith, the owner. He said he would send someone out the following day between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. At 11:00 the next morning Marc arrived to take care of the problem. He explained that the shut-off valve sometimes leaks after not being used for a long time. He tightened the nut which holds the packing in place, checked the connection again and determined that there was now no leak. This company is excellent at communicating with the customer and following up when necessary. I will use no other plumber.

This is the third time I have used Putzig's Plumbing and each time they have met or exceeded my expectations. When I need plumbing work done I think first of Putzig. I also refer friends to them.

Mike was absolutely great. Everything he described was spot on. I was very impressed with how Mike communicated and the quality of the work. Very fair, very honest. A 3 man crew did all of the work in one day and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were done.

At first they thought it was a simple job but it was so corroded it took two of us with wrenches just to get it broken apart. I had tried to do it myself. He got the job done and I haven't had any problems since. He has done work before mostly cleaning out drains and working on sinks. I had a busted water line and a toilet, which he fixed. They have done a good job on everything. Their prices are about average for the market. He came right on time.

I recommend him to a lot of people. Chuck has reasonable prices. I like him! I call him all the time. They are reliable, their prices are fair and they do good work. You don't have to wait long for a service call.

Overall, it turned-out well. It was a little bit more expensive than we had hoped for, but they did a good job. They were very friendly, prompt, and courteous.

I have used this company for a number small plumbing issues - new toilet, new faucet, upstairs bathroom leak. All were fixed efficiently, quickly and reasonably.

My house is 60 years old, I was having basement drainage issues. Upstairs kitchen, basement laundry and basement floor drain tie together under the basement floor and I was getting backups. Due to inadequate pitch to the main sewer, it was decided to abandon the underground kitchen line and floor drain and reroute the kitchen and laundry drain to a new stack with a cleanout. Add in the new water heater and laundry tub; this is a big job! I got three quotes, Chuck Putzig Plumbing was the only one to quote the underground job as an hourly rate. I chose them based on a co-workers' good experiences, and great ratings at Angie's List and BBB, along with their competitive quote. Mike and Lori Smith are the owners of Chuck Putzig Plumbing. Everything was wonderful. It was a 1.5 day job. Mike worked around my schedule to come out to give the estimate. He took time to explain things and gave an estimate on the spot. Once hired, the guys showed up on time every time, discussed options with me, and did a great job at a great price. Because of their job schedule, I chose to wait an extra week to have the work done, but it was worth it. The hourly rate ended up being to my advantage since he did not need to dig underground as much as originally thought. But even if he would have done 12 hours of underground work, he still would have been the same price as the next highest bidder. I saved about $1000. More important than price, Lori and Mike communicated quickly and clearly during the whole process, via email, phone and fax. These guys understand good customer service! Even though Mike is about 30 minutes away, I would not hesitate to use them again for non-emergency plumbing jobs.

They were courteous, professional, friendly. They arrived and finished when they said they would, and responded to my calls right away. The reason I didn't give them an A in quality was because of the routing of some of the pipes and the way they fastened them in places. There are places where the pipes are unnecessarily close to duct work (near the furnace) and to the drain coming from my bathtub. A little planning could have prevented this. If I ever need to have my ducts replaced, this will be a problem. There were also places where they put screws into the ducts to hold the pipes. I don't think this is firm enough. In other places the pipes should have been soldiered to the clamps (to keep them from moving) and they were not. I'm not sure if the price is good or not. I only got one other quote, and they were very close.

The guy they sent out was fantastic, very patient and willing to go above and beyond. I was very happy with him and his prices were very reasonable for the work he did.

They always came when they said they would. All work was down very timely and very well. No mess. All installed items were all high quality fixtures. None of the cheap stuff like you get from the home stores. These all will last. When the valve started leaking on the hot water heater on 2/26/2010 they were out the next morning at 11:00 am on Saturday. They a great people. Nice to deal with and they give you a fair price. I will use them again and again. The house is 58 years old so I know I will be calling them again.

He was ontime, nice, clean, cleaned up after himself and,all in all, pleasant to have work on this project. I would use this company again, if I needed to.

They came out within 4 hours, took under two hours to complete the repair and did a completely professional job. Including cleaning up all debris. I will refer all my friends and family to this company in the future!!!

Everyone who works for the company has a lot of technical skill. They always come out to do quality work. The personnel are all very knowledgeable. I thought that the cost was moderate and they were always able to come out right on time.

The workman came when expected and completed the work quickly and professionally.
