Everything was done according to our contract.

The quote was given in a timely manner. Contract was standard except for a full page of extra cost exclusions that included some of the work quoted. So we read it carfully and crossed out the appropriate exclusions and initialed them with referance to the quote. Not a problem, because there was a clause stating that any additional repairs would be estimated in writing. Half down was required so we wrote a check and returned it with the contract. The work was scheduled and preformed very well and all in one day.. NICE! When we got the balance due invoice it was $265 more than quoted and the itemization was not accurate. But still the work was done well and we were glad it was done. When I called about paying the invoice I explained that we had not budgeted the extra $265 and would like to pay the balance (now $937.00) with a credit card. THEY DONT TAKE CREDIT CARDS, and the rude explination was is that Credit cards cost them money and event though the quote didn't say they don't take credit cards and quot;IT DIDN'T SAY WE DOand quot; I Own a business and beleive that merchant service fees are just a part of providing a good service or at lease make it clear that it's a cash only business, up front. Over all, the work was done very well, but payment options are not addressed suitably for a profession that can be rather costly.
