All the workmen I know are busy between now and then, of course [or hadn't yet returned my call], so I used Angie's List to find someone nearby who could do it on such short notice. Amazingly, Nick had just had a cancellation and was here in less than 10 minutes and done within 15 or 20 after that. Might have paid less if I'd connected with a handyman instead of a plumber, but I have no complaints. Nick helped me out super fast.
Description of Work: I just found out that Best Buy, who is delivering and installing new dishwasher tomorrow, won't uninstall existing appliances (!). So, I needed a plumber or handyman pronto.

After telling us the day he planned to come but saying he needed to call us back with the time, we never heard from him again. My husband called to check in the and see when he might be arriving. He didn't call back. This was a frustrating waste of a day.
Description of Work: We called to request a quote on repairing a leak in our bathroom and installing a new stub and shower surround.

Nick is conscientious, honest, and dependable. He had many years of experience working for others, and now is the sole proprietor of his plumbing company. He is very reasonable compared to others in the business and treats you the way he would treat family. He's a high energy person and does a lot of business through word of mouth. One warning: he is popular and you may need to wait a bit for things that aren't pressing. And he sometimes takes time off to visit family.
Description of Work: We had Nick do a variety of plumbing jobs around the house. In this case, he installed a toilet and did various small repair jobs.
