He repaired roof shingle damage from a windstorm. He matched our roof shingles exactly and did a great job. It looks great!

Larry consulted with us several times in the design and estimating phase, gave us great ideas, and was very responsive at solving every issue we brought up. For example, our neighbor's house had its basement wall buckle inward due to the heavy clay soil and our hillside location putting higher than normal hydrostatic pressure on the wall. Larry designed our project with a thicker concrete wall and a mid-wall pier for extra structural strength, without adding big money to the bill. Another example: our kitchen would now be darker without an outside window and sliding patio doors, so Larry suggested a light tube to bring sunlight into the kitchen/dining area, now an and quot;interior roomand quot;, and we had him add a 24and quot;x36and quot; skylight in the addition to keep the whole place bright with daylight. All permits and inspections were included, all excavation and contracting, all project management, and even a built-in gas fireplace in the family/entertainment room were included. We have thoroughly enjoyed living in our bigger house for five years. A year after the project was complete, the skylight in the addition leaked small rivulets during a heavy storm. Larry came out the following day and inspected the problem, then consulted the manufacturer, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. No arguments, just good service and doing the right thing. Since that experience, we have hired Pillar again several times, for projects like interior painting, remodeling our master bath and bedroom after a plumbing failure did extensive damage, and smaller and quot;handymanand quot; type things. We have referred him to friends who have had both big and small jobs, and he has won praise from them as well. Very stand up folks to do business with. Very trustworthy.

When we found a problem with a repair done by another company on a section of our roof, we contracted with Pillar Construction to fix it. They responded quickly to our request, showed up exactly when they said they would and did an excellent job fixing the problem. Pillar Construction also took pictures of the section of the roof before and after the repair which were e-mailed to us. Pillar Construction contacted us to ensure that we were satisfied with the work. The price for the repair was very reasonable and we were very happy with the result. My husband and I highly recommend Pillar Construction.
