Ada Bike Shop has as it's business motto, "Making the Best Bikes Better". Our goal is to treat every customer they way we would like to be treated, with courtesy, respect, and fairness. We take pride in what we do and what we sell. Every customer is important to us at the Ada Bike Shop. Both locations service all makes and models of bicycles, while our Fulton Street store also sells Toro and Echo power equipment and services pretty much all types of small engine power equipment. We also sharpen most tools, chain saws, scissors, and knives.

These are great mechanics. They have repaired all of my bicycles and kept them in really good condition from our tandem to my touring, road and mountain bikes. I would recommend them to anyone. Whether it is taking apart the tandem so the frame could be repainted and put back together again, finding the right tires for various uses and more, they work hard to correct problems and meet my needs. They don't mind working to correct problems. This is a great place with great people.
Description of Work: Gave my touring bike a complete look over as I prepare for a 1200 solo bike tour. I also purchased a new chain which they installed.

Not having a bike rack available for my car, I rode my Gary Fisher bike about 5 miles to the Ada Bike Shop, where I purchased it a few years earlier. The bearings in the crank were grinding. I arrived close to closing time and was prepared for a long walk home until the mechanic offered me a ride home. Very gracious and unexpected. The work was completed in just two days.
