 + -1 moreIt was a poor job in terms of the amount of sealant they used. They came back and refilled the cracks and I accepted it at that time. After the winter, my driveway looked as if nothing had ever been done to it. There were scratches on it and it was a very light color. After speaking to the owner, he agreed to reseal the entire driveway at no charge. That was in May 2015, it is now August 19th and they have not come after many phone calls and many promises. He does not return my phone calls and I would not recommend him to anybody.

Description of Work: First of all came out because I told my husband they were recommended on Angie's List but after looking over the job to be done requested a deposit up front when work wasn't going to be done for 2 months and my husband who never gives up front deposits gave deposit that owner of company requested. They did come back and started job in beginning of October 2013. They dug up and removed old asphalt driveway that was there for 23 years and was breaking up and needed replacing. This part of job went well and some new base gravel put down and graded all seemed good. The next day the paving was done and the areas done with the machine that lays down asphalt looked great at the time. Area in front of garage and in front of house about 6'x30 foot area the asphalt was done manually without machine and this is where we have a problem a shall sinking in unable to park cars without making permanent indents and this is very disturbing since this is where we park our cars. We had reached out to owner Ed but he never returned our calls. One of employees came back Summer of 2014 and requested to seal the driveway for a fee. I discussed our problem with him and he said it was because of hot summer yet driveway had that whole winter and spring to settle in. We did not want them to do sealing because we were unhappy with the job and have noticed cracking along good sides of driveway this spring. And continued sinking and large indents where we sometimes park our cars...just very annoying we have to run out and tell our guests to stay off that area that sinks in. And this was a very expensive job. Ed will say quality of asphalt is not what it used to be but really a one year old driveway. The reason grade is not less is that one of the workers did figure out which way to angle driveway so most rainwater runs down middle of driveway and doesn't wash out sides because part of our driveway is a steep hill.
