+ -1 moreDid a ooor job of refinishing a road in York/ Kittery. Charged $3000 for sand!!!! No gravel, no drainage, just a crappy job!! Don’t use them EVER!!!!! Overcharged and poor quality work!

+ 0 moreMy written, rather amateurish contract with Dixon said entire driveway. They did the job, but decided not to do the last 100 to 200 feet of the drive - 'didn't need to be repaved.' Well, it looks horrible, and the part that they refused to pave is cracked and definitely needed paved. Sadly, as I have had great luck with contractors and trust people, I paid it all before seeing the job. The owner did meet me, but he refused to do anything more without another several thousand dollars. On top of this, multiple people - some who were in the paving business themselves - remarked unrequested how poor my drive paving is. It is not packed well, it has large, irregular seams everywhere. Shame on me for paying before checking. Shame on them for their unprofessionalism and complete lack of any sense of responsibility or customer service. I expect that I could take them to court and win, but from watching Frozen too often, 'let it go.....' Beware.

Description of Work: I left three phone messages over a period of one week, and never received a return call. If he's too busy to return a phone call, I can imagine the headache I would have encountered if he would have had to make a trip back after doing work.

+ -1 moreI called and left a voice mail and within 1 day I recieved a call back. The salesman came out to bid the job the 2nd day and the price was competiive and the gentleman I spoke to on the property noticed a couple of potential issues and addressed them without my asking. The work was started within the week and completed in the expected time frame, the workers were also considerate of my neighbors need to get by as I live on a very narrow lane . I would certainly use them again should the need arise and I am confident that if I were to have any issues in the future they would address them without hesitation.
Description of Work: graded and paved the parking area for my house.

+ -1 moreThe crew showed up on time and heated up the tar in their tow behind tar trailer and then poured it in the individual cracks. They did a great job and hopefully I'll get a few more years out of this driveway. Since it's expensive for Mr. Dixon to fire up the tar a neighbor signed on as well and made it more cost effective for Mr. Dixon and us rather than just do my little job alone.
Description of Work: Clyde did provide a super service in filling the cracks of my driveway that will keep it going a while longer. His crew came out and filled the cracks with the super gooey thick tar that remains elastic and then sprinkles a sparkly black finish over it so that it doesn't get tracked in the house. Please note: My cost was a hundred dollars but my neighbors project was more extensive and more expensive.
