Description of Work: I have a 2004 Ford Ranger with just 39,000 miles that runs like a top, looks brand new, but has a little Maine rust problem. After my decision to keep it and fix the rust, Dennis has been instrumental in recommending and servicing the vehicle to stop and reverse the rust problems. He is honest, straightforward, and will work with you to find the right solution. I highly recommend him .

 + 0 moreThey're excellent. The guy is very fair and I'm very satisfied with their integrity. They did everything that had to be done for colors and repair. They took care of everything and they dealt with my insurance company. They're very thorough and very conscientious people. They are always prompt in their service and their work is excellent. They did the job they're supposed to do and they do it right. They are a good place to go for your car. Their price is very fair and the quality is perfect. I never had a problem. I'm satisfied with their work and I'm satisfied with all the aspects of the business relationship with them.
Description of Work: One time, Hewitt's Auto Service and Sales did an expensive dent mark. We've used them three or four times for repairs.

 + 1 moreMy 2004 Ford Ranger has only 36,000 miles and would not pass inspection due primarily to rust...it's Maine, it sits outdoors, its a 4WD that is used in ice and snow. We were going to trade it, reluctantly. Dennis thoroughly inspected the extent of the damage to brake lines, shocks, frame, etc etc and quoted a price to repair. The work is now done, and the degree of rust removal and preventative coatings Dennis applied will gain us years more on the vehicle. While the cost was slightly more than quoted, Dennis meticulously explained what he had to do, he did in the time frame promised, and we are very pleased with the result. We will be returning to Hewitts to service the Ranger. They have our recommendation!
Description of Work: 2004 Ford Ranger: repaired extensive rust damage and associated components also rust damaged or worn out Frame was rusted to the point of requiring plates welded on, scraping scale off, and application of chemical undercoating to prolong integrity. Rear brake drums, brake lines, shocks replaced. Emergency brake freed up. Differential plate cover, perforated,replaced. Inspection sticker. Before delivery, Dennis washed the truck.

Description of Work: Great work quality, but poor communication. Several parts were delayed thorough no fault of Hewitt's, but they did a poor job of communicating with me about when the work would be completed, and I had to call repeatedly.
