Mr. Electric

Description of Work: We built a new house. Our contactor hired Mr. Electric. I moved in 3 weeks ago and lights are still missing and switches do not work and lights flicker and there are missing outlets and switch plates all over. The work is slow with lots of hours padding. They leave a mess which endangers my children. i have asked them not to leave bits of wire on the floor but they still do. i have a toddler who will eat that stuff. So I have to clean up after them in every room on the rare days they actually show up. Mr Electric technicians do not show when they say they will. They were not even close. I have been waiting a week for a tech named Joe to return since I sent him home when he showed up extremely late one afternoon on a day he said he would be here in the early morning. Thst was after several days of being totally stood up. I had a dinner party to prepare do and could not wait any longer. Now I am apparently being punished. Well this is a big contract so one would think they would be grateful to have our business but that is clearly not the case. Not sure why we are using these unprofessional people. Very close to insisting they be fired.

Description of Work: I had the company give an estimate for three items. When it came to Doing the job of installing sub panel they increased the costs From $375.00 to $459.00 and tried to say it could be $ 800.00. I was upset and called the owner and he said we have to agree to disagree He said I've been over there twice for estimates. He just came once. I did tell him that He should notify the customer of an increase before revisiting to install. At any rate not at all happy with this company Or the owner of J & M electric.
