Very happy with our experience working with Ray and his crew. Dependable, thorough and extremely high quality work. Good communication throughout the process. Very hard working crew who were willing to work weekends and evenings as needed. Some of the project involved custom work and very pleased with how it came out. Ray carried out our plans exactly as we wanted and in a reasonable timeframe.

This was a great project. They walked me through everything so I could make good choices, hired amazing specialists (electrician plumber etc) and the estimate was so detailed I never had to wonder. When unexpected things came up (some previously unknown rot and damage) I was shown everything and it was fixed properly not just hidden or patched over.

We were very pleased with Ray Marshall's work from start to finish. He came in with acceptable numbers on the quote, but what we really appreciated was the detail with which he broke everything down so we could see exactly how we were spending our money. He and his crew worked steadily, and we could see considerable progress on a daily basis. He has high standards for the quality of his work and won't settle for something he isn't satisfied with, even if it means redoing something or sending back materials that he aren't of the quality that he expected. He also kept the job site clean, picking up trash and other debris as he worked. Finally, Ray was easy to work with and kept in regular communication with us throughout the project. The final result was a new space for our home that is well built and looks great. We definitely feel that we made the right choice by hiring Marshall's Modern Homes.

We contacted Mr. Marshall to arrange a meeting to look at our property. He arrived on time and on the day scheduled with an associate, they looked around the whole property with us for about half an hour. We gave Ray the plans and he told us that it would take him about 2 weeks to get a quote for us. We told him that our experience with other contractors in the past had been terrible and that honesty was a MUST for us. He said no problem and that he would stay in touch with us.......... 3 weeks later my wife called Ray in the middle of the day to ask him if he had a number for us yet. Ray said no he hadn't, so my wife said "what do you mean", his response was "uh, I'm sorry" and that was it. No further response, no calls, no explanation. The hunt for the one good contractor in Maine continues. This guy is a D at best.

Ray Marshall has provided great service for a reasonable price. He has keys to my property and I trust him completely. I've been working with him for a few years. My neighbors have hired him as well with good reviews on his work. I wouldn't hesitate to provide a reference if you need it.

This was one of the best experiences ever with a contractor! This was a difficult project because of all the different parties involved - mold remediation, furnace, disposal of water damaged items, the repairs to the pipes, replacing a water pump, and then the rebuilding of the floor and bathroom damaged in the leak. MMH was great a project management, even when the remediation company started giving me problems and delays, MMH stepped in and took care of it. The quality of the work was outstanding, and when it came to making decisions, MMH guided me through the whole process. I felt confident with the materials chosen - they were a great balance of style, quality, and value! I was truly amazed at how quickly, and accurately, MMH was able to come in, estimate what needed to be done, and stay within the budget. I have a bunch of other small project I have been putting off because of not being able to find someone trustworthy and dependable, those projects will be going to MMH now!
