L.F. GRASS CUSTOM TILE INSTALLATIONS

LF Grass did a fantastic job installing laminate flooring at my cabin in Sebago. They were very proficient with the expertise of the installation and displayed a very professional attitude. They also coordinated and worked in conjunction with an additional plumbing subcontractor that was working within the bathroom area. The project was finished 1 day earlier than anticipated and the clean up was very thorough. I would recommend them for any flooring installation needs!

I had my entire home done in LVF, it couldn't have gone better ! Mr. Grass showed up when he said he would and finished on time. His pricing was decidedly competitive against Home Depot and Paul White Flooring. He allowed me to pick out the flooring wherever I chose and offered to pick it up for me. I would not consider this job an easy one... the home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and 8 closets. It came out beautiful !

Of the half-dozen or so responses I received through my Angi search, these were the only guys who actually came to review the project in person. They were knowledgable, on time, quick, clean, and a pleasure to work with. We live in a condo association and they were considerate of our neighbors as well. They delivered on everything they promised, including a very reasonable price.

Lloyd did a great job with the backsplash in my kitchen. He was extremely prompt and flexible with scheduling and reasonably priced compared to other companies.

Lloyd and Brad were great - could not be more pleased. They were timely, neat, organized and focused, and the end result was perfect. They even threw in some added wit and fun commentary which made the inconvenience of not having access to the kitchen very tolerable. Lloyd was easy to work with. I called him on a Wednesday and the following Monday he started the project. I provided the tile and grout and let him know how I wanted it installed. It’s a seasonal home, so we actually never met in person, but I’m thrilled with my new backsplash. Would definitely recommend Lloyd.

The two brothers did an excellent job on our bathroom tile. They were right on time, worked efficiently, and were priced right. Even in the first call I had with them I knew I'd made a good choice. I'm going to be reaching out to them soon to do a much larger tiling project.

Lloyd was very responsive. He answered my call immediately and I was able to schedule him within a week for my relatively small job. He and his partner showed up on time, were very professional and friendly. They worked fast and they did a great job. Beautiful work! I wish they'd cleaned up better after themselves but all in all I was extremely happy to have hired them and I would easily hire them again.

Lloyd Grass and his brother Brad made an appt. to do the job within two weeks. This was surprising considering that all my recent experiences with contractors requires multiple calls and a hefty down payment on call one. They were polite, respectful, on time, professional and worked without interruption. There was no 2 days on the job here and 4 days there, while they worked on other jobs. It took less than seven days to complete the job and it looks BEAUTIFUL. We are already planning our next job together consisting of a back splash in the kitchen. I highly recommend them to everyone. They are also great guys.

Great! He responded very quickly and was able to come out and provide a quote that week, started and finished the project the following week. Quote was very reasonable. I had already bought the tile, grout, and mastic and he provided suggestions for a trim to make it look more finished, which I highly appreciated. Very professional. Would recommend and hire again!

Lloyd and his brother Brad arrived on time and stated clearly what they intended on getting done and when they would finish for the day. They worked quietly and fast. Most of the tile was installed the first day along with a glass accent. The second day they finished the rest of the tile and the third day they did grout work. We are very happy with the quality of the work.

Great! The guys showed up on time, planned ahead, even, in the winter weather to make sure they had everything set up to get the job done! They were always friendly, and even though we were in the house during some of the work, they were very accommodating and great to have around! We challenged them with some unique aspects to the project, but it came out beautifully!! They really came through to make our vision a reality! We plan to have them do more work for us very soon!

They were fantastic. They did the job right by leveling the floors first and did a nice job. On top of the great skill they displayed, they were both nice to work with, punctual, and had an outstanding work ethic, which made the multi-day job fly by.

Great work! Lloyd and Brad were very polite and kind, and sensitive to what we wanted done. We were undecided on a few things and they gave us advice when we asked and really helped us out. The demo work was more complicated than expected, and they handled it wonderfully and still completed the project when we needed it to be done.

I hired Lloyd because he was pretty responsive, clearly has been doing this work for a long time. and his price was competitive. I like Lloyd and his brother Brad a lot--they are good Maine guys. Unfortunately, they made hasty mistakes on my shower that still have not been fixed; multiple contractors have suggested that I should reinstall completely--and I am still stuck months later with an incomplete tile job. The installation on the floor tile was good, though I had to call them back to reinstall a tile that was hastily installed with the pattern going in the wrong direction. The finished product looks very nice. I would give a B+ for this work. The shower is a different story, full of sloppiness and cut corners, with a variety of issues from grouting the bottom of the shower (where it should be caulked, due to the potential "give" of the shower base), to irregularly/crooked cut tiles, many places where the grout lines weren't "cleaned up" and at least 8-10 places where the grout was so hastily applied that gaps emerged where moisture could get in. One friend of ours noticed that many of the tile cuts are shirred on the edges and wondered how that could even happen with a wet saw. Lloyd and Brad introduced me to Schluter instead of bullnose tile, which was great until they couldn't find white on their install schedule and convinced me to go with a cream color instead--which now makes the bathroom look mismatched. I don't know if they applied a grout sealant to repel moisture--their lack of attention to detail in other areas makes me question their detail overall. These details remained after bringing Lloyd and Brad back twice to fix other errors. I would give this a D--as another contractor said, "not a botched job completely, just a lousy [he used a different adjective] job." I have a baby on the way, and don't have the funds to do a complete shower tiling redo. I asked Lloyd for a partial refund so that I can pay someone else to fix his work, if they weren't going to fully make it right. He has refused. This is unfortunate, because as I said, I find Lloyd and Brad to be good people in other ways.

Lloyd and Brad did a wonderful job! They helped up with the design of the walk-in shower and the addition of a small linen closet in our master bathroom. The area was unfinished when we purchased the home recently, but now it looks amazing. We now have a beautiful walk-in shower with porcelain tile, glass accents, a marble bench, and a unique grab-bar. We are beyond thrilled with the final result. The bathroom they worked on is on the second floor with the only access being up a spiral staircase. They had to go up and down that staircase for all of their tile cutting, but did it with good humor:-) They work so well together that they are a pleasure to have in the home. They even helped my husband move a piece of furniture from the first floor to the second floor! I highly recommend this company for any tile work of bathroom/kitchen remodeling. Their work is high-quality; their prices are very reasonable, and they communicate well with customers. I will definitely call them again if I need any type of tile work.
