We are a small company focused on taking care of trees, small forests, urban forest landscapes while nurturing our community.
If you want your trees taken care of, our work is the very best.
We do not spike trees we are caring for, we do not even run dynamic ropes over the bark of your trees. We use vegetable based oil in our chainsaws so sawdust is safe for your family to compost. We take extra time and care to not squish through important twigs and leaves while climbing through the tree. Send an inexperienced climber into your tree to care for it and the tree might be worse off from the "care" even though it cost less than our work does.
In our effort to support our community we work at a waived or reduced rate when folks need it.

Service was excellent. Joe and his crew were able to take care of the 2 trees as well as trim up the tree towards the entryway and a few around the house. No big machinery, only climbing gear. They scaled up tree, cut the dead branches and cleaned up the site.
Description of Work: Had a dying tree and one dead tree that needed to be cut down for newly purchased home. Also, we did a walk around of the property to see what else needed to be done and he identified some birch trees that were towards the end of their life that he recommended taking down later.

Joseph and his crew did a great job removing the trees, along with a lot of invasive that had grown around them. Very professional work - no bucket truck, just climbers in the trees. Everything was cleaned up afterward. The price was fair and reasonable given the amount of work involved.
Description of Work: I needed some trees removed to improve the performance of my solar panels. There was also a small cluster of trees that had two dead stems that needed to be taken out. Upon examination Joe determined that the entire cluster of trees should be taken down since they were all either dead or dying

Always on time, always responsive. Professional and pleasant. Plus he provided a show for the neighbors as two arborists are some 90 feet up removing and dropping the limbs and the trunk. Not for the faint of heart.
Description of Work: Joe assessed our property for tree trimming and removal. He recommended removing two invasive Norway maples to let the sugar maple and the ash trees flourish. Years later, the remaining trees are beautiful. He recently removed two Norway spruce trees that had long overgrown their location and were starting to show signs of rot. He removed these (right next to the power lines) and removed the stumps and debris.

Description of Work: I will send rating after work is performed. Joe is very friendly and shows concern for what he is being asked to do. Very professional. We will have three trees removed from our property, one which is very tall, and he assures us his company is well-equiped to do the job. Contact me in late October and I will be able to report on the job.

The job went great as usual. Joe has trimmed our trees in the past and cabled them to protect our house. He has a holistic approach when caring for trees and always takes the time to explain and educate you on what he is doing. Very professional and loves what he is doing.
Description of Work: Joe trimmed our maple tree and checked the cable he had securing the tree.

Joe is an avid cyclist and he arrived at our home (at least 20 miles away) on his road bike. That explains how he keeps so fit, anyhow! He completed a thorough walk around of our back yard and inspected the tree (and others). Joe explained the process to my husband and within 24 hours, he emailed a quote for the project. We agreed upon a date and then the fun began! The reason we removed this tree is because my husband is an avid gardner. We recently purchased this home and the tree in question here shaded practically the entire yard. The best way to describe this process would be Cirque de Solei on trees! I'd never seen this done before so I found it fascinating and a bit scary at first. Everything is done using ropes and chainsaws. Obviously Joe and his crew have this down to a science (nothing broken!!). This tree is also a bit too close to our house and the branches were ever so close to some of the windows. In all honestly, I was prepared to see a broken window or two when all was said and done. The huge limbs are secured by the ropes and when they swing, you truly think, and quot;oh boy, this is it, there goes a window or into the neighbor's yard it goesand quot;..........but nope. It's just a perfectly executed exercise that the limb separates from the tree and lands precisely where they planned for it to go------with a very loud THUD. Amazing. What impressed me even more about Joe Lynch is the way he treats his crew. I watched and listened while I was indoors, too. He keeps the guys on their toes and I can see a lot of smiles and hear laughter. He wants input from the guys and makes them think about the process, also. There is zero room for complacency and Joe keeps an eye on them while having a good time all the while. It appeared to me that Joe is a true mentor. He had an intern on the job, also and he was very involved in the removal. When it reached over 95 degrees, he called it a day for his crew. Safety first! We respected that. Joe explains everything and you can just see that he enjoys what he does. He enjoys life and it shows. Joe is just another reason why it is so very important to call on your small /local businesses when you need a service conducted. He cares! A true professional that knows his business. Thanks to Joe, my husband will be able to garden. We'll be using his services again in the near future to remove another tree. Yes everyone - look no further. At least call on him for an estimate and you'll see of what I speak.......... OF IMPORTANCE - we had 4 estimates.......a couple were from the bigger guys around town. Joe's prices were best, too!
Description of Work: Large 50 year old silver maple removed from our yard. HUGE does not describe this monster!! Joe was recommended to us by someone else who had used his services in the past.

Our backyard was so shady that even grass wouldn't grow. We are gardeners so we wanted sunlight in the backyard. A local garden center recommended him. He was excellent. We wanted the wood from the maple tree so they left the trunk. They totally removed the pine trees and they ground all the stumps. He was very professional through the estimate process and the job. He and his crew showed up on time and were very careful. They let us know when we needed to move our cars. They were very polite and did a great job of cleaning up. They worked hard and it was a lot of work. We were very impressed and very pleased. We have recommended them to a number of people. Their price was reasonable and they did a great job of communicating with us. They were very prompt. The job was done really well.
Description of Work: We used Joseph Lynch Arborist to remove three massive trees in the backyard. He and his team took down one huge maple tree and two enormous pine trees.
