T W Enterprises did a great job removing a very large multi-trunk pine tree that had caused damage during the last storm. We appreciated that they came over to assess the job as soon as we called and were able to remove the tree shortly after as we were worried about it. The crew was skilled, professional, and worked well as a team. Many different pieces of equipment were needed and this was well coordinated and got the job completed in a short time frame with exceptional clean-up. We definitely recommend them.

Taking down a tall tree or large branches of a tall tree safely, with minimal damage to things or people is not easy to do. We were impressed with how this team performed. They worked carefully, artfully, and safely. Their teamwork was impressive. Each person knew their job, and performed well independently and interdependently. Their price was reasonable, their cleanup was extraordinarily good. It is a pleasure to watch professionals who like each other and work well with each other do good work. Would we use them again? ****, yes.

Before I could ask Tom said he could provide before and after photos of the work. Tom was nice but I never got any photos. When I saw my credit card was charged for the work. I emailed Tom to ask for, at least, after photos. He responded that he could send me some photos. The tree limbs were supposedly trimmed the first week of January. I still haven't received any photos. If I get photos of the work I was charged for I will change my rating. At this moment I don't even know that the work was even done. Tom sounded nice and honest but...I don't have any proof the work was done. UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW MADE ON 01-17-2017 I received photos of the trimmed trees on January 28, 2017. The trees were trimmed in a timely manner. I can't speak to the price or quality because I don't know much about how much it costs to cut trees or what is a good or bad tree trimming. I only subtract points because I did not received photos (until Jan. 28) that Tom had said he could give me because I live in another state and I wanted to make sure the trees were trimmed so the roofers could do their work.

This was a tall spruce requiring heavy equipment. The crew had to use a neighbor's yard also to take down the tree and I was pleased that their yard was left undamaged and clean. Scheduling took a while because we had so much rain in the spring that it set them back. You can't control Mother Nature, and Tom was upfront about the delay and always responsive when I called for an update or, one day, to cancel the appointment myself because the ground was sopping wet again. The equipment left a divot in the sidewalk, and they called the next day to tell me they would fix it. Their price is competitive. These are nice people and conscientious workers.

This is the second time I have utilized TW Enterprises for landscape pruning. Was very happy first year I used them and absolutely thrilled with how my yard looks after their visit this year. True artist eye when it comes to achieving pleasing forms of decorative trees and shrubs. Meticulous in cleaning up and disposing of yard waste. Couldn't be happier!

I contacted Tom about cutting some trees in an overgrown pasture. Mark from his office promptly returned my call, scheduled a free consult, did the consult and provided me a written contract of the work to be done. Due to the fluctuating temps, I had to ask them to reschedule the work from the originally planned day so the ground would be frozen and not muddy. They were very considerate and rescheduled to after a two day hard freeze so there was no damage to the pastures. They showed up promptly on the work day, I walked the area again with Chris to confirm we were all on the same page with which trees were to be cut and made sure he knew what I expected for firewood to be saved. Tom also came by and checked that all was well. This team of 3 were highly skilled, worked hard and completed the job in under the time scheduled. I'm familiar with tree work and Chris is excellent. He had to climb half the trees and top them so they wouldn't fall on fences. They also had to use wedges and ropes to direct the fall of a few trees. The men on the ground fed the chipper and they made three neat piles that will be easy to clean up later. As agreed upon they chipped all the tops which saved me a huge amount of time and energy, cut the trunks into manageable size for me to cut/split further for firewood and moved the smaller cut wood out of the way to make access. They also cut a couple of dead standing trees in my woodlot that were hung up and I didn't feel comfortable with tackling on my own. I am very pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend this company for any tree removal work you may have to do.

I did not contract directly with TW Enterprises to have the trees removed and had contracted my long time tree person Richards Tree Service to have four large pines removed that were in close proximity to my house. A large limb fell onto the roof this past winter and we had the trees removed as we were fearful of more damage to the house. We contacted Richard Shaughnessy in early April and he quoted 2000 for the tree removals and 700 for the stump grinding along with removing the stump chips. I received a call from Richard after a couple days and he informed me that he thought the job was too big for him and that Tom Wight of TW Enterprises Has the proper equipment and expertise to remove the large trees and that he would honor the quote. Richard was right. I really wanted to get the job done a quick as possible and they responded without delay. They came over only a few days later with a large bucket truck and very skilled crew and removed the trees in one day. They had to wait about two weeks before they could grind the stumps as there stump grinders were in for major overhaul. They came back as they promised in two weeks and removed the stumps. After they left I went out and did a close inspection of the stump removal as they promised to remove them to six inches below surface and they did a good job but I found some large pieces where roots left the large trees that I was not happy with. I called and spoke with Amanda and she said she would send the stump crew back out later that day. They came back and not only removed the ones I pointed out but took them all deeper. I am very happy with the way this turned out.

Our cat had gotten out when some service people were at the house. He had never been outside before, and was missing for almost 48 hours. While walking around calling for him on the 2nd night, we heard him howling in a neighbor's tree. There were 3 very old and very large trees that were all intertwined, and, although we could hear the cat, we couldn't see him in the mess above. We called the fire and police department, and were told that they do not get cats out of trees. It had been raining for 2 days, and was going to be raining all night, so we were very worried about the cat. T.W.'s ad in the yellow pages indicated 24 hour emergency service, so we called them at about 8pm. They called back almost right away, and were at our house within 45 minutes of the initial call with a bucket truck. Tom was diligent and patient, as it was difficult to locate the cat. When he did find him, the cat was less than cooperative, but Tom persevered and finally got the cat down. The service was awesome. Tom went above and beyond, even in just acknowledging that this was a legitimate emergency, unlike their typical tree emergencies. He was friendly, professional, and respectful, as was his colleague. I would hire them again (for real tree work, hopefully!) in a minute. Thanks, T.W. !!!!!!

They came on for the day and were neat and tidy with the branches. They put the chips in a good location, and checked first, and then made 2 followup calls. The work was well done and it makes our yard look great.

They were very professional and did what I wanted. It was a small job so I had to pay their minimum free for bringing their equipment to the house to do the work. So it cost $200 even tho it only took them 15-20 minutes to do the work once they were set up.

the job was done professionally and now i have a back yard without all the branches laying on the ground and up against the house and roof. they cleaned up all the debris from the yard after they were done and also cut down another tree in my front yard that i hadn't realized was in bad such bad shape. i am very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking for tree work to be done.

They came promptly to do the estimate, scheduled the work within a reasonable time, came when they said they would, took down two very large, mature maple trees that were not doing well, ground up the stumps, cleaned up everything and left. Very professional, reliable. No surprises.

The experience was very good. They were very thorough. They did what they said they would do. They didn't do one thing where they worked on some heavy trees and they said they would come back and fill the holes in the section. They never did that and that was the only concerned I ever had; other than that, they were very prompt. They came up with pretty good suggestions about what to do with the trees. They did a very good job. The price was reasonable. They charged $1300 for 5 large trees. It was better compared to other places. The quality of the work was really good. The speed at which they removed the debris and the way they cleaned up afterwards was wonderful. It was my mistake that I paid them before they left and there was nothing that made them come back and finish one pending job.

They came out and gave me a quote - told me that since it was a small job I had to pay the minimum fee and that they would fit it in in the next couple of weeks. They came back on a Saturday morning removed the limbs and also removed another small maple. Cleaned up and everything went smooth.

Our neighbor next door had a tree removed and they cut some branches for us then. They didn't charge us very much, so when we needed some extra work done we called them. They came and did the work, cleaned up the mess, and were very professional. The price was very reasonable considering the price for things around here. They are the only people I would use in the future.

We have used him 2 or 3 times and we once even asked him to do a job that was not tree related and he graciously did it. I would highly recommend him to other members. He looks at the job and gives the price then and there and we don't have to wait for the estimate. It seemed pretty fair. He is a good worker. His group is trained specifically to do tree work. If they have to scale the trees, they have the right equipment for all of that. If I have any tree work, he will be the first I call.

They were very good. They have a good price. They did the work for reasonable price. I really have no idea what to expect. This is the second company we went with for tree service. It was an emergency because some of the trees were gone dead and were falling down. They came out rather quickly. They were very professional. They said they have qualified arborists. They do have an arborist in their team who came out to make sure things are done right. The price was good. They said they would patch up the lawn because the trees were heavy, and they were supposed to come back and repair it, but they forgot that.

Tom was very responsive and professional throughout the process. He responded to my initial call quickly, came right out to evaluate the tree (it was clearly not healthy and I called to have someone come advise me what to do about it). He diagnosed the problem, said I could try to nurse it back to health, but it would be expensive and he couldn't hold out much hope that it would suceed. He recommended removing the tree. I decided to go with that. He worked it out to do it on a Saturday so it wouldn't interfere with business. They came and did the job when he said they would, cleaned up everything nicely, and there was no fuss, no muss. There were no surprises, no hidden charges, everything went just as promised.
