WOW! Just had the BEST experience with AC repair folks in Ogunquit. They arrived about hour after I called while others were quoting three weeks or $700 to come sooner to take a look. Was about a 30 second fix but they were so great! Left everything immaculate - I swear my house is cleaner now! If you ever need HVAC in So Maine, I can't recommend Keith and Joe and Pine State Services highly enough!!!

very well , we weren't getting hot water they came and checkout the system took out time to get the parts but they did and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time an d satisfied with the work they did.

Pine State was the only (out of many I contacted) company with the experience to service my hybrid hot water heater. The technician who visited (Keith) was fully knowledgeable and carefully explained the situation. As the repair was going to cost as much as a new unit, I decided to simply let the unit run in electric mode and not use the heat exchange function. To my happy surprise, Pine State did not charge for the evaluative visit! This was a very generous gesture on their part and certainly secured my goodwill and interest in using them for my future needs.

Fantastic company to work with! The technician, Keith, took the time to show me the basics of my furnace and how it works and then properly labeled all pipes connected to my furnace. I now feel more comfortable knowing how things work and not intimidated by my own furnace. This is a company I look forward to continuing a long lasting working relationship.

Chris at Pine State was excellent on every level.Chris was thorough and calming with the explanation and options. He got it done and thought the whole thing through. He looked at the problem from a whole. He was skilled and professional. I never write reviews, but I as so impressed with how well the whole thing was handled. We hired Pine State Services - again - for annual on our air conditioning system. The technician who came out was on time, professional, courteous, and very thorough - same as last year. We are thoroughly impressed with everything we have experienced with Pine State and recommend them strongly.

Very good job - came in the morning checked things out and confirmed a new heater would be the best option (rust around bottom of prior unit that was 11 years old). Selected a new heater, the technician called the shop and the new heater was delivered and installed by lunch time. He drained the old heater and removed it and made sure not to get any of the water on the grass or garden. New heater is fantastic.

I was experiencing no heat or hot water so I call one company to check my furnace. After two days of try and error, they told me I needed a new furnace. I still had to pay them for their time. I call Pine State to get a second opinion; Mike was very knowledgeable. It took him no time to diagnose the problem. He said I needed a new pressure switch. It was ordered and replaced. The price I paid for parts and service was a fair price. I would definitely recommend Pine State and will not hesitate to call them whenever I have problem with my furnace.

Colton performed the regular furnace cleaning and he helped troubleshoot an issue that we were having and provided some options on what we could do to solve the issue. He also provided some information on some potential issues that could be problematic down the road. He was really helpful in explaining how the the problem was happening and what different options would work and the advantages and disadvantages of each. He was very professional and I would recommend Pine State for furnace and plumbing work.

The work was done in a timely and efficient fashion. The technician noted some items that may need to be addressed at a future time but were not urgent issues. It is helpful to have this information so that we can plan ahead and I appreciated his honesty in telling me that these were not issues that had to be addressed today.

Keith was punctual, professional, polite, knowledgable, thorough and all with a smile. He caused us to feel confident in his work and we appreciated that he was willing to answer all questions.

We were very impressed with the service we received, from the phone receptionist to Jason who replaced the tank. We were told we would have someone between 12 and 4, and Jason arrived at 12! He was excellent. He wore booties to protect our floors. The price quoted after he surveyed the situation was much less than we expected. We will make sure to recommend Pine State and call them for future needs of plumbing, heating and electrical!

We’ve used Pine State for many years and when we moved to a new house and discovered the water heater had been disconnected and called them again. In the course of their examination, they moved the unit causing the rusted bottom to fall out and water to pour everywhere. The water damage was not insignificant - and they did call a service to clean and dry the water logged floor. Unfortunately, while they were nice during the incident - they have been completely unwilling to take any responsibility for the damage. They refused to pay for the remediation company they called or reimburse us for the damage to our tile in part of our basement. Because of mold hazard, we were advised to remove all the offending tile and replace it. We went back and forth with them for some time but the bottom line was - they attributed the problem to “unforseen circumstances” and refused to reimburse us a dime for our out of pocket costs ($1350 for remediation that day and $3000 for the tile). I don’t know how it is “unforseen” when you are called to inspect a disconnected water heater and you don’t bother to look at the bottom of the unit to see if it’s rusted (or empty) before you attempt to move it. All in all - an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I couldn’t recommend them to anyone again

Fine, the technician said it was working fine, which made me think, did I really need a tune-up. I any case he also priced a new pump for one of the zones which was a nice add-on.
