We have used this company in the past and they continue to meet our expectations for prompt service and quality of work. I found them to be a bit more expensive than I was expecting this time. However, you sometimes don't mind paying a premium to get the end result you are looking for. We recommend them and would certainly hire them again.

Pine State Services conducted a professional review of our requirements followed by a common sense proposal with competitive pricing. Lee took the time to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. The installation was completed on the date promised with very little disruption. We are very pleased with their overall performance!

Their price was fair...not the cheapest, however. But I went with them because they are an authorized Mitsubishi dealer, and therefore offer an additional year on the warranty. Installation went well. Good communication. The plastic housing of the unit was bent from the factory. They noticed and ordered a replacement and later installed that in a timely fashion.

The service worker was prompt, efficient and explained all services rendered .

The salesman came out promptly, seemed knowledgeable and left saying that he would send an estimate the following week. After a couple of weeks with no estimate we called them 05/01 and left a message, the salesman did not call back and we still didn't get an estimate. We have called another time with the same result. Apparently this company doesn't want our business, and won't get it.

I called on Tuesday and informed Pine State that my furnace was not working. Since I have a secondary heat source for my home I told them it wasn't an emergency but that I did not have heat from the primary heat source in my home. They scheduled a tech to be at my home on Thursday between 8am-12pm. At 11:40am, the receptionist called and said they were running behind and would call me a half hour prior to coming. At 2pm the receptionist called back to say that since they had more pressing emergencies and were short staffed, they would not be coming. I again informed the women that our furnace was not working at all and she apologized and said they had slots available next week. I told them "no thank you." I then called Richard Waltz who came within 30 minutes and did not charge the emergency rate. I should have called Richard Waltz in the first place.

The quote for service was quick and as I had a quick job, less than a day, they were able to squeeze me in between larger jobs. Two technicians came to my house. One dismantled and removed the old radiator, and piped and installed the new one, while the other technician added the zone valve and piping to the boiler. When the job was complete, they showed me how to operate the new radiator and walked through the changes to the boiler. They then removed the cast iron radiator for disposal.

They removed the cast iron radiator as part of the project. They were very fast and efficient.

The first time was a surprise and a little frustrating since we had just bought the home. They came out very quickly found issues with caulking and took care of it. Not only that, they went through the basement and labeled all of the drains and switches. And, they looked and gave opinions about another issue regarding water under the tile in the bathroom. When they came out for the furnace, they were able to come out on the weekend and go through everything with us. In both cases, they were very professional, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond to help.

The guys from Pine State Services were really nice, looked for any hazardous pipes, and took a quick look around to see if there was anything we needed to fix. They were very pleasant about that and overall it was a good experience. We use Pine State Services as our emergency service.

They did not show for the appointment, nor did they call to cancel or reschedule. I rearranged my day to ensure that I would be at the home for the two-hour window I was given. The woman who answers the phone is a sweetheart. Very friendly. The gentleman that she put me on the phone with seemed distracted, almost disinterested in scheduling the appointment. Perhaps this company is becoming too busy to manage the referrals from this list.

The service was excellent. We were a little late in getting back to them about their initial estimate due to some general life issues, but it was no problem. After agreeing to the details last week, they were here bright and early Monday to get going. The entire job took two days, and I don't have a single complaint.

Charged $79 just to take a look. Then additional $160 to fix a simple pipe under sink. I will not use them again

We called Pine State in a state of desperation late on a Sunday night shortly after moving into our home. As I was preparing dinner, water started flooding out of the dishwasher even though we weren't using it. I called several (or more than several) of the top-listed companies on Angie's List and even called a company that really is known for 24-hour service, but to no avail. Pine State, on the other hand, called back very promptly and sent a technician within an hour. Jason was very polite and professional (even late on a Sunday night), very competently diagnosed our problem, and solved our blockage by snaking our kitchen sink and examining the related plumbing in our basement. He really was a lifesaver! We will be arranging to use Pine State for all our heating, plumbing, and cooling. We were very pleased with the service and found the price reasonable considering the circumstances (late hour on Sunday).
