Description of Work: Oil boiler for 3-family would not go on. I had to arrange repair long-distance. Once I got someone in,technician had to change reset transformer, change electrodes, replaced nozzle, oil filter, strainer, cleaned burner, etc. (he said it was very dirty and had to spend extra time to clean), plus tested before leaving. | It was an emergency call and the office was very nice. I did initially call the day before (Sunday) and my call was forwarded to an "emergency" mailbox but no one got back to me on that day. When I called back on Monday am, I had to schedule for "emergency" house call since all technicians were booked until the end of the week. Office was friendly and helpful, technician called me while working on boiler to inform me of the situation. I thought the cleaning charge was a bit high but I appreciated the professionalism of the technician and the fact that the job was done on the same day as my call.

Description of Work: Annual maintenance of my furnace. They cleaned the furnace, replace the condensation container and adjusted the fuel air mix to ensure the most efficient burn. The Service was professional and they wore shoe covers while completing the work.

Description of Work: Installed new propane hot water heater. |They have saved me many times in an emergency. Being a widow and dealing with a house, is not easy. They are my first phone call in any house emergency.

Description of Work: I had a lightning strike at my property. Consequently I started getting a ton of sediment in my water filter. To the point where I needed to change it once a week which was also ruining my water pressure. Pine St came out and the gentleman got out of the truck, looked at my filter set up in my basement and said it was fine. Then walked outside opened my well and said "wow, this is really deep". He said that my well was probably caving in on itself and I needed to call a well drilling business cause they couldn't do anything. After 5 minutes he took my 75 bucks and ran. So I was left standing wondering if my well was literally caving in on itself. I decided to wait it out and the sediment started getting better and the water pressure has been back to normal over the last 3 months, looks like the strike probably loosened something up around the pump. Good thing I didn't jump in immediately with his "opinion". I guess I should have known by the types of tattoos he had up and down his arms to begin with.

Description of Work: Provider surveyed the problem and recommended an $800.00 fix. I got a second opinion and the second person actually fixed the problem for $80.00. The provider either didn't know or tried to sell me an upgrade that wasn't needed. One is as bad as the other.
