They were excellent. Their price was a little more than the others that I called. They had a great reputation and good references. They were very professional, very prompt and very clean. I would use them again.

I dealt with Lee Nicely in setting up the project, estimates, scheduling etc. His work crews were highly professional, in their relationship with me and my wife, in their sensitivity to our personal space, their deference to the impact of the work on us and their leaving their work space cleaned and ordered at the end of each day. Our project went off without a hitch and Lee was available to answer questions and monitor the quality of the installation. They are a remarkable company.

These folks are great. The attention to detail is exceptional. They were here when they said they would be; finished when they said they would; and delivered the product that they indicated that they would. They treated the house as though it was their home, cleaning up all work areas at the end of each work day. They have also been back to service/clean the unit as well which was also done at the same level of service. I am not sure what they could have done differently to improve the experience.

Could not have been better. Seriously, just, professional, clear, and quality the whole way through. They were not the cheapest quote we got, but we're extremely glad we went with Pine State. Worked with Unitil to get things scheduled and executed with minimal hassle to us.

I wouldn?t use them again since they cut the wrong pipe. The plumber had to replace two pipes. He didn?t charge me for the one that he cut by mistake, but he charged me for an hour. He didn?t charge me anymore than he would have but it?s just the fact that he didn?t pay close attention to look at the right pipe. He did quality work. He did well on his responsiveness.

Our furnace died over the weekend. We have an 18 month old daughter so the thought of going without heat all weekend was very distressing to us. They answered the phone right away and were willing to come out on a Saturday just several hours after we called them, even though we weren't a past customer. Very pleasant and professional to deal with. Price was what was estimated and done efficiently. We will use them for any future furnace needs

We are super pleased with Pine State and will use them in the future for any plumbing or sewer or heating needs. Four of my co-workers use them and they are all impressed with the service, which is how I came to call them in the first place. They also are open on Saturdays which I found helpful so that we don't have to miss work and apparently stay open till 7pm as well. I am a designer and really appreciate how neat, clean and organized they were. Their forms were easy to read, their website is really nice and I really like the new look and trucks! (I know this shouldn't sway my decision to like them, but it helps!) I just felt like we were using the best quality company. It wasn't your typical plumbers crack quality of company. I understand that they may cost a little bit more, but you certainly get what you pay for.

This company was professional from the beginning, made a timely estimate, was always easy to contact. They showed up on the date they initially promised and got all of the work done in one day while I was at work; I was able to come home to a warm home with no mess. They even went the extra mile to label the existing and new gas lines in the basement with very easy to spot and legible tags; something I hadn't thought of but shows they have a clear sense of responsibility to their clients for the future.

The man who came out to give me the estimate was incredibly informative and helpful. I could tell that he really knew what he was talking about. He gave me an all around good estimate. I give them A?s across the board.

It went very well. The work was top quality and there was high attention to detail.

His estimate was 350.00 to just install a faucet which I thought was very high. It also cost me $79.00 for the estimate.

Pine State was extremely responsive. From the time I called to the time they were at the job was approximately 1 hr. Work was performed quickly and without problems. $290 for 45 minutes of work seems quite expensive to me, but I suppose I was paying for the immediate service.

Pine state was extremely professional and friendly. I am redoing my kitchen, and in order to add cabinets I had to remove a radiator. The technician asked me questions to understand what I wanted and helped me by suggesting that we add a low-profile fin heating pipe in the sink cabinet to keep my kitchen plumbing warm while not taking all the space the old radiator took. He was efficient, friendly, and well versed in the trade. The work went quickly and he cleaned up after he was done.

They did a great job! Their install team is top notch!

Bad from the get go. Told Pine State I wouldn't be available until 1pm because I was in meetings all morning. Got two calls from "Brian" at 11:45 asking me to call them right away. I called when I got out of my meeting and "Brian" informed me that he could have sent a guy over when he called but, since I didn't call him back, there was no telling when and if he'd be able to send a guy out and get my work done that day. When the Pine State guy did show up, he looked at the supply lines and the shower assembly and said, "I can't do anything with that, because we didn't supply it. It's junk. If I were you I'd return it and buy something from us." Then he tried to convince me to do that, when I said no, I want this, he reiterated that there was nothing he could do and added that there was no way to attach the existing supply lines to the shower shanks. Then he shook his head and left. But before he did, he tried to charge me a $79 dispatch fee despite not doing anything. I called another plumber, (see Mantsch Plumbing report) who came in and put the whole thing together and connected the supply lines in three hours.

We were happy with the service and response time. It was a very cold night and the plumber showed up at 2am, not an easy thing to ask of anyone during the Maine winter. The plumber was very knowledgeable and friendly. He offered tips on how we could be proactive to avoid the problem from occurring again.
