I can't say enough good things about Just Roofing! They are an amazing company. We had to have our roof replaced due to leaks that we found over the winter; we reached out to Just Roofing to see about helping us out with our homeowners claim and repairs to the roof , not only did Brandi give us a reasonable quote she came out multiple times to help us deal with the inspectors at no charge! From the first phone call to the last nail being picked up... Dave, Brandi and the crew (who were as equally amazing and professional to work with) were professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I work in the construction industry and have seen my fair share of jobs gone wrong because of poor customer service, bad crews, quantity over quality or someone just out to make a buck... NOT with Just Roofing! If you're looking for contractor with integrity to repair or replace a roof... look no further!! Dave, Brandi and their team are the best! Thank you again, you were amazing!

Description of Work: I hired Just Roofing to put a new roof on my detached two car garage. They stripped the old roof, removed the debris, and put the new roof on in about 7-8 hours. Pros: - They offered the same product (GAF shingles) for 2/3 the price of other roofers in the area. - They did a decent job cleaning up. Cons: - They don't actually accept credit cards - Some of their workers smoked cigarettes while on the job in my yard.

After giving Just Roofing the green light they were back to do the work within just a few days. The crew was professional and courteous. David, the owner, was on-site through the entire job. They easily accommodated my request to use CDX rather than OSB without changing the original estimate. They had intended to complete the work in one day, but about 4 hours into the first day the rain arrived. They stopped for the day, but not before securing two gigantic tarps over the entire work area. Even though new material and shingles were already in place over a large part of the roof, they spend at least 30 minutes placing tarps over the entire area of the roof to ensure that nothing got wet or leaked until they returned. The quality of the work appears be top-notch. They left the work-site extremely clean and I haven't been able to find a single nail left behind. They used a giant magnetic device to collect any hidden nails on the ground. I even witnessed the owner personally inspect the ground around the work-site before the crew left to make sure that it met his standards. Even though we had been receiving a ton of rain, their equipment left minimal impact on the yard and a few small tire indentations are no longer noticeable. In short, Just Roofing was responsive, easy to work with, professional, fast, and clean. And I know the price was right because I got several other estimates before choosing Just Roofing to replace part of my roof and repair the leak. I give them an "A" and have no hesitation recommending them to friends.
Description of Work: A Sunday evening storm revealed a leak and a large area of our roof where shingles were missing. I called Just Roofing first thing the next day, and by the afternoon of the same day they stopped by, placed a tarp over the area and provided me with an estimate to resolve the issue. I got a few additional estimates and found Just Roofing's estimate to be on target, so I hired them to replace one side of my roof.

My experience with ?Just Roofing, Inc?, found from a radio ad, was what prompted me to finally join Angie?s List. I?m still angry over it, weeks later. Based on my dealings with them they should instead be called ?Just Rude, Inc.? The 2 reference provided were glowing. The scope of work was to re-shingle a back dormer, redo the flashing at the top of the dormer, and to work with the homeowner to devise a way to stop the leaking of the boxed-in chimney then do the repairs. Of course everything was guaranteed. On the work to re-shingle the back dormer - owner David Kimball was on site, and that portion went fine, with the exception of my front lawn. To make work easier for the crew throwing the debris to the ground I agreed for them to drive their dump truck onto my lawn. David assured me he'd repair the ruts before the job was done. This wasn?t addressed at the time but much later until payment time, and only then because I kept reminding him of his promise. Loam was dropped on some of the ruts and that was it. Red Flag #1. Re-flashing ? again, David primarily not on site. Workers were not meticulous with the flashing since they assumed the chimney box would be re-covered, thereby covering up their work (just one of the options on the table to stop the leaking). Workers said they would redo later to improve the looks. Repairing the chimney leak - again, David mostly absent. Some of the options discussed early on were re-siding the chimney box using Azek but after research found that the panels were not big enough. The chimney was an architectural design, a Pope & Cottle cap, with white stucco sides. We discussed not altering the design if at possible while making it weathertight. David had one idea that involved cutting into the stucco but I told him I wanted time to think it thru before agreeing to it (it was a visible change to the original design). Rain was forecast, so the crew covered the chimney and part of the roof peak with a tarp. Before chimney work resumed I tried contacting David by phone and by text several times with my ideas. No response. Red Flag #2. The rain came. The tarp, rather than deflecting the rain from the chimney, instead made the situation worse by pooling the water, allowing it to seep into my house thru the ridge vent. Water dripped from the plaster ceilings. I tried contacting David ? you guessed it - no response. Red Flag #3. The next day when the crew and David showed up to work he was visibly annoyed. I immediately asked if he had gotten my messages about the leaking, and he said 'it wouldn't had happened if they had done the work sooner when it was supposed to be done." Even his workers were surprised by his rudeness. David never asked to see the plaster damage or offer to help in the repair. Red Flag #4. At this point I just wanted the work done. The chimney work was done that day, but not as I had suggested, but as David originally wanted to do it, altering the design somewhat. There was still leaking from the top, so David screwed some aluminum sheeting on the top, saying ?that should take care of it?. Instead of painting both the sides of the chimney box and the black top, as agreed to originally, David had his crew only paint the white sides ? saying he didn?t want to do the black top since it?s not ?what he does?. By the way, he over-bought the special paint, buying 5 gallons when 1 would have been enough, because he didn?t want to wait any more. Now I have 4 gallons of unneeded plastic paint to dispose of. When done he complained about all the extra costs he had incurred (tarp, alum sheeting, caulking, paint, etc). He said he would come back in a week to complete the work agreed to ? repaint the white one more time, and trim up the caulk they had put on (it was visibly lumpy and uneven). I paid him not only what was owed, but extra for the add?l costs, without an invoice for the extras. Just under $3k for the whole job. As for him returning to complete the work as promised, I held back $150. He balked. Red Flag again. By then I was tired of keeping count. But at least the leak was fixed, or so I thought. You probably can guess the rest of the story? he never returned to complete the trim work. 2 wks later It rained. The chimney top leaked. More ceiling damage. Holiday weekend. Phone calls were unanswered. Finally a response to my text msg asking for him to come back to at least put some plastic over the chimney, saying ?It?s a holiday weekend?. ?I told you the chimney needed more work. Good luck?. He later added ?You still owe me $150. Pay me and I?ll think about coming out maybe next week.? Rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. And a little bit richer because of me. Would you want to hire Just Roofing for your home?
