+ -1 moreExcellent - no problems to report. The machine is loud - but not much worse than a lawnmower. Four stumps of different diameters (8 inch, 12 inch, 16 inch and 30 inch) took about 45 minutes total.
Description of Work: Contacted Jim's Stump Grinding - he came out to give me an estimate when promised. I showed him 3 stumps - he gave me the firm price. He told me he does this work on weekends and I was fine with that. He explained he would grind the stumps and leave the chips/mulch behind. He showed up on a Sunday - and did the work as expected. I realized there was another stump I wanted done - and he gladly accepted the challenge. When it came time to pay - he said he'd do the 4th stump - and I refused. It was beyond the agreed upon work. I offered him a little extra and he accepted. I was very pleased with the service.

+ -1 moreMr. Howe arrived promptly for a preliminary visit and estimate, and the work was completed when he said it would be. No complaints from me--I would use Mr. Howe's service again.
Description of Work: Mr. Howe (aka "The Stump Guy") ground down 5 tree stumps in our yard.
