Best Co. Exteriors

I emailed the owner, Warren Howard, in the morning and he responded by sending a worker over before noon. His worker, Billy was very qualified and a very hard worker. I am using Best Co. Exteriors for my plowing and will continue to use them for handyman services.

Very nice owner and crew. Came when he said he would ! (Very unusual in this day and age) I had an unpleasant experience with my next door neighbor re: property line and Best Co came down from Wells and fixed it at no charge even though they were not at fault.

Best Co. is "The Best". My husband and I relocated to ME after renting our house for ten years. Oh my, work, work and more work. I was overwhelmed. I started with my first project, Trees. In came, Warren Howard ,owner of Best & Co. Mr. Howard responded instantaneously to our request for an estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable. After consulting with several services (3), we selected Best & Co. for knowledge, reasonable costs and a great understanding of our goals. The employees are hard workers and take pride in their workmanship. No corners cut! We discovered thru our tree project, that Best & Co. provided many other services. We hired Mr. Howard & Co. to do: 1) excavation work in our back yard (remove pool, grading, rebuild shape of yard), 2) regrade our driveway, 3) electrical work in house, 4) plumbing, 5) remove and rebuild front porch of house, 6) rebuild stairs in house, 7) repair outside house structure ; and, 8) paint the house. Mr. Howard and his employees are very disciplined ,take pride in their job and accommodating working with their clients. We have been very pleased with their work and results. 5 ??? It was the first time using Home Advisor and the process went very fast from contact to finishing the job. It was a small job so it was easy for them to fit into their busy schedule. Came Friday morning to look at the job, started at 1pm Friday,finished tile and came back Sat. am to grout. Job Finished,looks awesome and WIFE happy !

We had Warren and his team do a large grading project in our back yard that also involved installing a new irrigation system. We checked Warren's pricing against other local contractors and it proved to be very competitive with the market so we chose to move forward. They showed up right away, got the job done as promised, and were extremely professional and easy to work with along the way. We are very happy with the work and would definitely recommend Warren and Best Co. to anyone looking for help in this space.

Responded right away, scheduled the work immediately, and completed the job professionally in great time. They also did a little extra work to help me out at no charge.

Warren does what he says he will, is professional and punctual. We had him install a lawn, and assuming it grows, we think he did a beautiful job. He had to remove the old sod, bring in and distribute loam, seed, and fertilize. He smoothed out the site for the same charge quoted, although that had not been discussed. I would highly recommend him.

I originally requested sod installation along the street side of my property to prevent soil erosion following heavy rain storm. Warren Howard / Best Co. Exteriors recommended removing all grass at roadside and addressing soil erosion with application of Rip Rap. Warren Howard was very professional, completed the job on time as promised and price was reasonable. Note: have experienced two major rain storms since project completed and the Rip Rap has successfully addressed the erosion problem. Very satisfied and would strongly recommend his services.

Did more than he promised

Warren was prompt and easy to work with but I found him less knowledgable about plants and the art of landscaping than I had hoped for. Also, the price he charged for the work he did and plants used was over the top.

Warren is the one answering the phone and doing his own scheduling. I found him very up front about when he could and couldn't be there and he was always on time and was always there when he said he would be. Also, he did a great job! I would recommend him AND hire him again.

Warren was wonderful to work with. He called promptly and set up an appointment within 24 hours. Had great advise and ideas and the finished patio is beautiful!! I would absolutely recommend him!!

I hired this outfit to clean up my yard, to remove dead wood and bent over/broken limbs from the perimeter and cut down a few trees growing. Apparently if a dead tree is still upright it is not dead and if a broken bent over limb have a leaf on it then it should be cut off outboard of the break. If there is anything else in the yard that is not wood then it is not considered to be a part of the "cleanup". Make sure that you specify (maybe in writing) exactly what you want with this guy. I didn't do this - and it becomes very obvious why he wanted to be paid in cash. Mea culpa. In their defense, except for the way they cut off a couple of the limbs, the work was well done, and they did clean up the ditch area which was not in the original discussion.

Came quickly to give an estimate. Did the work within the time frame outlined. Thorough and professional work. Would hire again.
