+ -1 moreKnowlton is the worst. The owner is a jerk. Initially when we out movers from DC were dropping off our stuff he acted rude and gruff both to them and to us even after we called multiple times to confirm the time, it was as if we were inconveniencing him. Then when they moved our stuff out of storage they were responsible for multiple deep cuts in our wooden chairs and a couple other broken items. The owner acted like a jerk when I spoke to him about it and denied responsibility. When we withheld our payment until we could assess the cost of the damage another jerk at the company threatened to sue us. Apart from the movers themselves, everyone we interacted with at this company was unpleasant and aggressive. We ended up paying them in order to avoid any further interactions. What a bunch of jerks! (To put it mildly.)
