+ -1 moreOur steel lined brick chimney was taken off the house yesterday by falling ice and snow. Waiting on one provider to come for an estimate and they're late, so I started calling around. Unfortunately, Dave is in Florida for the winter and our need is more urgent. I'd give an NA for overall if it were an option, but then, I can't give an A because I visited the website and it didn't say he's away for the winter so I wasted time on a phone call.

+ 0 moreDowneast chimney did a great job both fixing and cleaning my entire stove pipe (metalbestos/black) chimney system which is my primary heat source. Dave the owner was prompt, friendly, punctual and extremely hard working. He was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend him for both chimney cleaning and maintenance, and/or constuction.
Description of Work: Replaced, broken pipe, cleaned chimney, re-sealed roof flashing, completly rebuilt my stove pipe system from stove to roof.
