MAINELY CLEAN

The owner came out to meet with me prior to cleaning. She presented that they go above and beyond, and if they see a dirty window, even though they don’t normally “do” windows, of course they would clean it, and if I was ever dissatisfied with any of their work, to let them know, and they would correct it. She had told me on the phone that it is just her and a woman that has worked with her for years, and that no one with tattoos and piercings would be coming. Imagine my surprise to meet her employee, who has a tear drop tattoo on her face, and this last time she also brought a man along with her They cleaned on four separate occasions over two months, and after giving feedback around the low quality of work (untouched oven, streaky / foggy floors, grease on the backsplash of the stove, and a few other things) there was no improvement. The glass doors on the shower had stripes of calcium build up, crevasses in all of the bathrooms continued to have grime, and from the wet mopping they insisted on doing, a buildup began at the edges and corners of the floors. The last time they were here they pulled the toilet paper holder out of the wall and did not let us know. They were constantly in a rush, and with two of them “cleaning” for 1.25 hours they charged a disproportionately high amount. They are not professional, and do the bare minimum.

The first week they showed up 30 minutes late but did a decent job. The second week, they showed up early--no one was home, they let me know they weren't happy about that when they showed up still earlier than the agreed upon time. They did a marginal job. I commented that they were done awfully fast and they said we have 3 people so we are fast. They then took the money and left before I could check anything. I wasn't impressed but I figured I'd address it this week. Well, after racing home to be here "on time", they never showed up, never responded to an email or phone call.
