Bird Dog Construction

Unfortunately, my shed with carports was not constructed properly. The carport is sagging so standing water sits on the roof. Nick has yet to return any calls. I have had a number of highly qualified contractors take a look and they all agree that it was constructed poorly in this area. The shed was also constructed without adequate ventilation. I will be following up with the MHIC. I really thought Nick was honorable and would keep his word.

Jim was a very hard worker. Rain or shine he was there as advertised. Quality was great. His expertise at building decks was evident. As he was working, he noticed little items that had not been on the original bid and completed them without additional charge. We would hire him again without hesitation.

Jim was great, very glad we found him. He rebuilt stairs and landings, installed stairway rails, did tile in the kitchen, replaced storm doors and more. He is an excellent craftsman, able to manage project work all by himself in good time. He was neat, respectful of someone else's home, polite, jovial, personable, very interesting person to chat with. Yes he is expensive but I understand the experienced tradesmen command a good price and his quality of work justifies it. And yes there really are is a "bird dog(s)" that we got to meet, great pups !! Thanks Jim, we will be calling you again.

Failed to discuss costs. Did not provide a detailed receipt for work done and costs. The two handymen did a good job on the work requested. No complaints with the quality of work.

Jim was extremely rapid in contacting me to discuss my unstable deck. I texted over some pictures of the issue I needed addressed. He provided me with an estimate and scheduled me in for 8 am the very next morning. Jim and his awesome crew arrived exactly on time and immediately began making repairs. James was competent, professional, and skilled. He fixed and refinished my old, farmhouse table into a kitchenette statement piece.

This project was poorly planned on my part but Jim did a great job trying to adapt and accommodate my needs. Hope hes available when I'm ready to build my decks

Jim Hall is a very personable, talented and professional worker. We've had Jim do different jobs, the last being the restoration of two livingroom tables. We couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship. He'll be back in the fall to take on another project.
