+ -1 moreI interviewed and received bids from several masons before deciding on Shaun and his crew. Shaun was very knowledgeable, low key, not pushy, and priced very competitively. Shaun came the day he said he would be there and finished on the day he said he would finish. His crew cleaned up every day. I had the code officer to the house while Shaun was there to do a wiring inspection and he commented on Shaun's work with and quot;those guys know what they are doing.and quot; It was a pleasure working with SB Masonry and I will use them again for any related projects I have.
Description of Work: Replaced, lined, and rehabbed 90 year old chimney.

Description of Work: Sean has performed two jobs for me. The first was a total rebuild of one of my chimneys. He was a little less expensive than two other people I received estimates from, and he seemed so much more professional than either of them so I hired him. He did a great job -- the chimney is beautiful, he did the work quickly, and it no longer leaks. He charged $4,000 for that. The other job he did for me was in late 2011. Water was leaking in through an old door frame on the second floor and damaging a window frame. I didn't have the funds to repoint the entire wall and put in a new door, so Sean cleaned up the whole area and stopped the leaks, until I can afford to do the larger job right. He only charged $400 for that which I thought was more than fair. Sean's quick, professional, responsive and fair. I will be hiring him again.

+ -1 moreVery nice to work with--responsive to telephone calls and email messages; and very patient with the million questions I had for him. Arrived right on time and finished sooner than he expected. I will definitely call him again when it is time to work on the yard's hardscaping.
Description of Work: Shaun and his assistant removed the old gravity-fed drainage pit in the basement and installed a new drainage pit and sump pump to allow for drainage to the outside. They were able to complete the job in a day and were very particular about the quality of their work. After installation, you would not have known that work had been done in the basement...it was probably cleaner than when they arrived!
