+ -1 moreJeff came either the same or the next day. There was no way he could make an estimate because of the volume of the stuff. So he charged by the hour. I could not believe how much stuff he could move in an hour. He also ended up stacking two cords of wood for me in an hour!!! (Something that would have taken me days!) He would being a helper and we would all joke around the times I was working with him. De-junking (believe it or not) can be a stressful, even psychological, event and they just made it so much easier for us. He was courteous and professional throughout the entire job, and he was funny & nice. We filled four 30 cubic yard dumpsters! He was invaluable. I had thought it was going to be impossible to get rid of all the stuff and starting to panic, but he was calm, patient, and did the job. It feels great without all that junk & clutter hanging around.
Description of Work: I live in a 200 year old farmhouse that was owned by the same family until we bought it about 12 years ago. They never threw anything out!!! There was 'stuff' in two attics, in the barn, and in another building located on the property. On top of that, there was the stuff we accumulated over the years. We're talking about old air conditioners, refrigeratore, mattresses, you name it. It was time to have the stuff hauled off and I could not do it by myself. We had already rented a dumpster. Now we needed someone to help us fill the dumpster. So we called Jeff.
