Called and left a message for repair work I wanted done. Never returned my call. I would not call him again.

I asked Peter for a quote, he spouted off a quote that was entirely outrageous for what I was asking. I then asked him to drop by and take a look to give me an estimate. He did not get back to me even after prodding. He may well be the best carpenter on the planet, but if you can't answer the phone and follow up it's time to hire a secretary.

Peter did a great job. He was always on time, he gave an estimate and the price ended up exactly as quoted. The work was excellent.

Well; however, I was then in no position to continue his services.

Service was done on time and within budget, and looks great! Peter is wonderful to work with, I would highly recommend him!

Peter does quality work which is the most important factor for me. He is easy to work with and willing to make changes. The project took a bit longer than expected partially due to a few electrical changes I made. The final quote was a bit higher than expected.

Peter installed subway tiles and hung some shelves in my new kitchen. His finishing touches were perfect! He provided a written quote, was flexible in accommodating my needs, and was punctual and tidy in his work. I fully trusted him in my house, and look forward to working with him again. Thanks Peter!

Peter never returned my call. Nor did three other contractors I called from Angie's List. How hard is it to make a 2 minute call?? "Hi, I got your message. Unfortunately, I am booked solid. Thank you for considering me and I hope perhaps we can work together in a future time." What is it about contractors that they can act with impunity to common courtesy, where other professionals would be skewed for behaving in a similar manner?

I would use them again. They were very good across the board. It is a small company run out of their house.

He was very friendly and personable. It was a very small job, so it is hard to know how a larger job would go, but he was fair, showed up when he said he would, and performed the task adequately.

Peter Dunphy had great quotes. I just happened to use somebody that was a little bit cheaper. He was great in responding. He was really good. He took his time. He did a lot of measuring. He explained to me what it would cover and what he would do like taking away the debris.

Sheer perfection. Peter made the replacement piece for my futon, came over with his tools, made the repair and cleaned up.

He does excellent work. He is a pleasure to work with and has fair prices.

The work was done over a couple of days in late August/early September. Everything turned out very well, and my husband and I were both really impressed with the quality of the work. The new drop ceiling looks great, and the new drywall is seamless. I'm also really happy with the new shelves in the laundry room. The project cost came out exactly as estimated. Peter and the colleague who worked with him on the job were both very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. Better yet, they were really nice to work with and easygoing. I will definitely recommend Peter's work to friends, and will call him again the next time a project comes up.

Put in large air conditioner. Added track shelf and altering triple track window. A new opening under the counter top and installed the new dishwasher . Remove old desk and construct a new 10x10 deck. Four step stairs and railing.

He was super easy to schedule with, very friendly and professional. He replaced the old drywall with water-resistant green board. The work was flawless. Cleaned up well, all in all a great experience. Will definitely call for future needs.

Waited for several months for PD to address the items on the long term list I gave him. Required sedveal phone calls. Have not heard back from him about other items on the list that he said wuld address during winter and early spring.

Peter looked at the projects needed to to be completed. He seemed to be interested in the job. He was going to call, or email me back for an estimate on the next day. Peter never called or emailed me back.

Peter came to our home, discussed our project, gave us an estimate we liked. He and his associate came and did the work as planned. The results were excellent, and they cleaned up completely when they were done. I was very happy with their work.

He scheduled the appt at a convenient time, showed up on time and with a bit of adjustments raised the bottom of a cabinet above the refrigerator. Worked quickly, made little mess and the cabinet looks great. He is a great worker and does excellent quality work.

We had unfinished work from when we moved into our house. Peter took on all projects in a timely and professional way: floorboards, shower grouting, deck railing/seating, trim, window installation, etc. He did an absolutely fabulous job in the concept, the execution and the clean-up.

He was a good communicator. The work was good. I don't remember too much else about it. When he left, we were completely satisfied.

My initial request was to build a wall and a closet to make a new room on the first floor. I gave Peter a general idea of what I wanted and he gave me some great ideas on some nice improvements and details to my job. The result was perfect! I am very happy with the results. While he was working on the wall, I realized I also needed windows and a garage side door replaced. He was very willing to take on these extra tasks and performed them perfectly. I will definately have him help me with other projects in the near future.

The work was outstanding. He responded immediately to my call. He went to the site and gave us an estimate. It was a professional job. He is a good guy.
