We started this process nearly a year ago, looking primarily at short sales on our tight budget was a difficult task. I happened upon Greg at DownEast Real Estate because quite frankly he was the first person willing to show me a home I wanted to see immediately on a Saturday afternoon. Fate was very good to me that day. Greg worked with us tirelessly over the last 9 months, showing us home after home.... we got into several bidding wars. It's a tough market in this price ranged, but he always remained optimistic and called us the instant something in our interest range became available. I just closed on my house a week ago. Greg has been by my side through the whole process (and it's a short sale process so it's unfriendly, costly, painstaking, and untimely in nature). He went to bat for me every step of the way as needed, he explained everything to me every step of the way. I truly cannot reccomend him enough. He always had ideas to help me envision a property as my own. (He's not just a realtor, he also owns and has flipped many a property himself being second generation). Honestly, I closed on my house a week ago and was sad at the thought of parting ways... and there was just no need for that! He's still right there with us! He's hooked me up with great contractors, who gave me discounts for being associated with him! He's gotten everything we needed done, done.. and sometimes just texts to check in that things are progressing for us. I've had some bad real estate experiences in the past as both a seller and a buyer... my only regret is that I didn't meet Greg 10 years ago.
