+ -1 moreThe main problem over at Curtainshop, seems to be a lack of customer service training. Several times I have called and made arrangements, only to have multiple calls from other staff about the same issue. I have felt harassed and hounded after several instances of receiving multiple calls per day until I responded to their questions-- questions that would have been answered if the staff actually communicated among themselves. I have asked repeatedly that multiple calls were not made about an issue until I've had a chance (and 24 hours) to respond. They have lost a lot of potential business from me as a result of their lack of professionalism.
Description of Work: I ordered custom drapes.

Description of Work: I bought a bedspread, pillows, matching sheets and pillowcases, and valances for my bedroom. Each delivery of the valances included one and then two valances that were defective. It took four trips total to get four valances that were not defective. This is not what bothered me; I know it's not the staff's fault. The problem WAS the staff. I was treated like I had two heads. They hummed and hawed each time I brought a defective valance in and pushed the fact that "it;s not custom; it's the manufacturer and after a face or two; they'd hesitantly agree to return it and order another one. I have never seen such unhappy staff before; all of them looked glum when I went into their shop. Finally, on my third visit I had enough about the manufacturer this and the manufacturer that. I said, "Well, the manufacturer is just going to have to get their act together, aren't they." I couldn't believe how far they pushed for me to keep the defective valances. However, I did have a very positive experience with their custom shop. They (she) and their installer's were wonderful! She was helpful, professional, knowledgable pleasant and concerned about my happiness. I spent $4,000 at the custom shop and I would do it again.
