+ -1 moreCame to estimate the job when promised. stuck with that. came when expected. Did a great job. very good around baseboards, etc. not all of them do well with that. not too much dust - though there was some, always is. I found them very personable and easy to work with. Some language issues, nothing major. Would hire again.
Description of Work: refinished several floors in rental unit.

+ -1 moreWhen I complained to the foreman on the job about the dust hurting my lungs, he told me to "grow up!" (I am 68 years old!) A call to the development company who ordered the work was not helpful. Joyce gave an excuse that was completely illogical. First she said the sanding was supposed to take only about 2 hours and that they wanted to put the sealant on in the evening when customers would not be present. If this were true, why couldn't the sanding also be done in the evening and then the sealant added? She said no tenant had complained which is not what one tenant told me. I will be reporting this company to Maine Air Quality Control, referred there by Maine D.E.P. I would not recommend this company as they are rude and showed little concern for protecting other people's lungs.
Description of Work: This company was sanding stairs in a large public building in Westbrook, blowing dust into the faces of patrons coming into that building. (I am still coughing after two hours when I was exposed to the dust. The men doing the sanding were wearing face masks to protect their lungs. A business tenant in the building said that they were told the work would be done after 7 pm, when closed to the public.

Description of Work: We had a little trouble understanding their English - not their first language. Once we got beyond that we found them courteous, professional, timely and most important the floors look great, both the floor they installed and the floors that were sanded. Dust was minimal.
