+ -1 moreIt went very well. For starters, he showed up. What's more, he showed up on time ... on the weekend. Greg worked quickly and immediately spotted some issues in the breaker box that he was able to correct without additional cost to me above the initial $60 service call. He gave me three repair options and put no pressure on me to pick the more expensive fix. If we find that the $60 fix proves to not fully solve our breaker-tripping issue and we decide to move forward with the next repair step up, we will be calling Greg at A+ Electrical without hesitation.
Description of Work: As winter approached, we decided to use electric space heaters in the rooms we used most instead of running our radiant heating system which burns a lot of expensive heating oil. As a result of the extra strain put on our electrical system, we were tripping breakers. I called Greg at A+ Electrical to come check it out and see what our options were to rectify the problem. He gave us several options arranging from $60 to $400. We decided that for now we would just get the minimum done and see how it goes. Basically, Greg reorganized our breaker box in a more logical way. Also, he switched out some larger breakers for smaller ones in order to make the box safer and bring the box to code, something that was ignored by whomever set it up in the first place.

+ 0 moreWe have been general contracting the renovation of our house so have worked closely with many contractors. Greg Clark really stood out as one of the best. He put together a very detailed estimate. Presented us with a contract that was fair and protected both sides. The contract also spelled out how we would handle change orders in a fair manner (change was inevitable on a project like this). Then he went to work. His speed on the job, professionalism, timeliness, and quality were all consistent from start to finish. If a mistake was made, he fixed it. If we wanted modifications he was friendly and helpful with ideas and fair about the pricing. The project was a great success. The house is very safe and we have excellent lighting all throughout.
Description of Work: This project was a whole house rewiring of an 1874 Brownstone. The company replaced most of the old knob/tube wiring. Replaced two panels. Strung data cable through the house. Installed electrical for new kitchen and bathroom. Extensive lighting throughout (island, under cabinet, recessed, sconces, ceiling, etc). Testing all existing fixtures that would not be changed. Moved/Added new circuits. Mved/Added new receptacles and switches. Finally, the doorbell!

+ -1 moreAll work that Mr Clark done has been efficient, quality work. His attention to detail is amazing and he ensured that his workspace was well kept. I have referred him on to others who have used his services, all with excellent feedback.
Description of Work: Mr Clark as done a variety of work for in my mothers home. Anything from rewiring lamps to connecting a new cable set up. He has been On time, professional and extremely fair with his prices.
