+ 0 moreTheir service techs are great but unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say about P Gagnon. Their prices are higher than most other places in the area for both propane and oil, and their office staff are mostly unfriendly (except Debbie). The big problem with P Gagnon is with their sales guy Kent. He is slow to respond to emails and never returns voicemails. He gave me a quote for a small project and after I put down the deposit, he raised the price by more than 40% without anything changing. I asked for a manager to call me to discuss and I never heard from anyone. Still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. I found another local company to do my project instead, and for less than P Gagnon originally quoted me. I strongly recommend you stay away from this company.

Description of Work: I had a technician respond after hours to service my furnace. Overall, I am happy with the outcome. The technician made sure my furnace was in working condition and gave me recommendations on how to keep up with the maintenance of my furnace.

Description of Work: Serviced my oil burner. That was all fine. What the problem is, is that their credit department is insulting and belittling. I was told that my credit must be compromised and they couldn't extend credit. There is nothing wrong with my credit and there are plenty of other oil companies in the area. I've found problems dealing with Maine businesses in general.

Description of Work: I have used P Gagnon for eight years and there service has always been exceptional. I always purchase the service plan which includes an annual cleaning, I have had to call them for service several times and it has always been covered by the plan. They replaced my oil tank recently and that went smoothly, on time, and professionally.

+ 1 moreThey have been servicing my house since 1982. They're always just a phone call away. They are usually here within the hour if I call them and I'm without heat. They provide great service and have been around a long time. They're competent, professional, and perhaps a little pricey. Given the number of years they have been in business and the reliability they offer I feel it's worth the extra money.
Description of Work: I use them for heating service. They also deal with oil and propane. They trouble shoot the problem and fix it.
