+ -1 moreSteve was prompt and quoted a fair price (middle range of my other quotes). We went with Steve mainly because he took the time to see room prior to giving me a quote. Everyone else based theirs off the approximate square footage over the phone. He was very professional and took the time to answer all our questions, particularly on the good & bad of removing & replacing wallpaper. All together it took 2 visits because of the drying time needed after the prep work. The work came out beautifully. He even got the paper in the tiny space between the door molding and the sink. I've had several friends comment on how nice the powder room now looks wallpaper. I couldn't be happier and would absolutely use him again.
Description of Work: I hired Steve do wallpaper a powder rm. It was a small job and I was quoted ~$275 to wallpaper the rm (not including material)

Description of Work: I can't say enough good things about Steve Barrett. I hired him to paint and/or wallpaper three rooms. His work his beautiful. He leaves his work area immaculate and he demonstrated incredible patience when the wallpaper was late to arrive. What's more, he's a gentleman. You can't go wrong with Steve Barrett.

+ 1 moreI was more than happy with him and even asked for his card to pass out to my five sisters. He was very easy to work with, did his work beautifully and cleaned up after himself maticulously. The mural is about 12'x6' and is so nice. I am very pleased with the service we received Steve.
Description of Work: I hired him to place a mural in a nottypine room. It's my husbands favorite room so after much discussion with my husband we hired Steve Barrett to place the mural on a thin veneer and then hang it over the nottypine as not to damage the wood. He also painted an old radiator cover for me as well and did a beautiful job. It had been painted many times over many years and looked pretty shabby. When Steve was done, it was very nice.
