We recently purchased our house, and a couple small pieces of siding blew off during a windstorm. I called several contractors, but no one could come out for weeks. Mr. Quinn was able to come out almost immediately and get the siding back up. He also gave helpful advice about future maintenance. Top notch.

This was not a referral from Angie's list but a referral from an acquaintance. I realized he uses Angie's list so wanted to leave a review for others. Willie Quinn is a very courteous, punctual and caring contractor. His crews are very good folks as well. Pricing was excellent compared to other quality contractors. Went above and beyond from a service standpoint and was right on time even working into a weekend to hit his committed deadline. Only hope is that I have another project to work with him on.

Willie and his crew were outstanding from start to finish. I initially called him because of the wonderful Angie's list reviews I saw and they are absolutely correct. We waited about a week to have Willie come to the house to do an estimate because I was so so impressed with what I saw in the reviews. The wait was well worth waiting for. Willie Quinn was totally straightforward and helpful throughout the estimation process. The estimate he gave us was not the lowest or the highest -- it was the best. We were so pleased to be able to do business with Paradigm Windows which is a local Portland Maine company. Willie brought samples of the windows, did a great job of presenting the windows using them. He recommended that we go to Paradigm Windows in Portland ME to speak with their representative and see the operation there, which we did and it was very impressive. Willie has been totally responsive with answers to every question we've asked him. The windows we ordered were installed at least a week ahead of schedule and we are thrilled. with the result. His team of two which is obviously one of a number of teams they have arrived on time at 8:15 this morning. His Dad Dennis, who started the company went over everything the two man crew needed to know. Willie had already told us that his crews have been with him for a lot of years The two guys who did our window work were outstanding -- very easy to have in our house, helpful and just excellent workmen. They did a terrific job with the windows, some of which required a lot of work because our window openings were not totally on square. I would highly recommend Quinn's installations for windows and since they also do siding and roofing I am sure they are as good at that.

We couldn't be happier with Quinn's Installation's work. It's early January and we've enjoyed our new windows and door for two months and want to share our experience that the entire process from estimate to completion was a pleasure. We met with several contractors to plan the replacement of our 20, 1940s vintage first floor windows and one large sliding glass door. Willie Quinn walked us through the installation process and demonstrated a sample window's features. He came across as the craftsman he is rather than a salesman. He returned every phone call promptly and kept us informed during the entire job. We even took him up on his recommendation to visit the nearby Paradigm window factory to inspect the windows and doors further. Quality windows and doors are important, but skilled installation is even more important. Dennis Quinn and installers Scott and Gary were incredible. They were completely professional, took obvious pride in their work, and cleaned up as they went. Every window frame cavity Willie said would be insulated and caulked, was. Scott was a master on the table saw, ultimately fashioning a beautiful and beautifully trimmed bay window out of a large picture window flanked by double-hung windows. Dennis and the guys removed our old rotted door, repaired the door frame, installed and insulated around the new door, and replaced all indoor and outdoor trim (using all quality materials – no shortcuts). Again, the quality of their workmanship and materials cannot be understated. We plan to have Quinn's Installation replace our remaining windows in the coming months. Our home’s previous owner replaced the upstairs windows about five years ago, but the windows are cheaply made, drafty, poorly installed, and don’t compare to Paradigm Windows installed by the Quinn’s. In the future, we wouldn't hesitate to call them for roof and siding work too!

Willy Quinn and his crew were great. This was my first big project on my first home and I was a little bit nervous about it. He came over and gave me a quote, paying attention to every little detail of what I wanted done. He made suggestions but at no point did I feel pressured. When I decided to go ahead with the project, he was able to give me a list of houses to see so that I could compare siding color choices. He also came in and measured all the windows, removing trim on a few and looking underneath just to make sure that his measurements would yield just the right fit. When the project started he made sure to call and check in regularly. As a teacher who also works a second job, Willy was great about making sure to find time to meet in person a couple times to go over the work that had been done. His crew was great and very professional. His brother worked on putting in the windows and made sure to walk me around to show me what work had been done and what was going to be completed the next day. I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail at every step. When the Windows were put in they found a rip on one of the screens. I would have never noticed it right off, but they made sure to point it out and promised to take it and any other substandard pieces back to the warehouse to make sure they got fixed. In another instance, I was very concerned about a few spots around my house where I thought there might be water damage underneath the existing siding. When they were replacing the siding Willy made sure to call and give me an update on those areas (where thankfully, it turns out there was no rot). I have to say that I would highly recommend Quinn's Installation to anyone looking to have roofing, siding, window or door work. He told me multiple times throughout the process that they are happy to help if any problems with the new windows or siding comes up, even years in the future. I have received so many compliments already on the new look of my home and have already recommended his services to a few of my neighbors.

Quinn's Installation was excellent to work with! They meet with us in a timely manner and, once we were ready to move forward with the work, the ordering of windows and the job proceeded without a hitch. We replaced 18 windows and added 2 new construction windows. They were communicative about timing and they did the work with minimal disruptions. They were also very clear that they would be available if we had any follow-up questions or concerns about our new windows.

The work was of excellent quality. The workers were courteous, cleaned up fairly well at the end of the day and did an excellent job installing the siding. The Quinn brothers checked up with us frequently to ensure everything was proceeding as we expected. We were totally satisfied with the job.

Polite, friendly and very efficient two person crew completed the job in one day. Excellent quality work and the area was cleaned up well at completion. Roof looks beautiful.

Willie's knowledge and experience about home repair and maintenance was instantly made clear upon discussing my home. He spent a lot of time with me in my home discussing improvements I suggested, and even looked at additional concerns such as patio doors, and told me they did not need replacing. Honest, frugal, hardworking, punctual and considerate Maine builder. I wish I could call on Willie for all my home repair needs. The ideal family company to fix a home.

Fixed siding and gutters many years ago. Came back to fix when damaged at no cost.

On time .... Actually started early and showed up each day until done. Came back later after I spotted a slightly crooked cut piece of vinyl to replace. No problem and our happiness was their goal and they got it !

They striped off the old cedar shingles and installed foam backing. They replaced some boards that had rotted due to the age of our home. Our home is so much more quiet and energy efficient. They installed beautiful interior colonial window trim. Our home doesn't even look like the same home from the outside. The transformation was amazing! The whole experience was great. I had a previous bad experience with a roofing contractor, so was hesitate to hire a another contractor. Willy Quinn insured me they would stand behind their product and work and he did so. He also explained at the estimate in great detail the products and how it would be applied. I was very impressed with his knowledge.It was also great that there was no additional cost the estimate quote was the final price. He came by to check on progress of the project several times. This gave me peace of mind, although his workers were so great that he didn't always need to. I must state the workers he had were wonderful. They were Steve & Scott. It was clear to see the experience they had as our home was an older home with some challenges. They treated our home as if it was their own and explained things as the project went along. They did an good job on clean up each day. These guys make quite a team and are very trustworthy and hard working. Money well spent. I would highly recommend them. Update- June 2015 Willy came back in the late spring and replaced a screen that had a hole in it. He also took a look at our roof although he was not the roofing contractor, and under no obligation to he check it and sealed a couple areas that maybe causing a leak. I wish the other contractor had handled it but he ignored my calls. He is no longer in business, imagine that. If your looking for a company who will address any concerns and stand behind their products then Quinn's is an excellent choice. I wish I had Quinn's do my roof as well, but if the need ever arises he would be my first choice.

We were looking for them to do siding. He came when he said was going to come and he seemed to understand the complexities of the job.

Everything went wonderful. After one week entire house has all new windows and was ready (with old siding stripped off and insulated) for the vinyl. Vinyl siding totally complete with shutters and rain gutters. An awesome job!

Got 4 prices, all were pretty close together. This was 2nd highest, very close to #3. No. 3 was a large roofing specialist, this was a smaller multi-services company. I chose to go with this one because I wanted to have experience with him for other projects that might arise around the house in the future. He was very prompt and professional. The crew doing the job seemed experienced, qualified, and mostly personable to have working around the house. I had a couple of extra requests, that they added to the project since they were working in that area of the house. They did those without any fussing, and paid attention to get those out-of-scope things done neatly. Cleanup was reasonably good. While we have not had any major rain and wind to put their work to the full test, everything looks and seems good. So far, I am satisfied with what they did and would hire them again for similar, or other, projects.

From the very first meeting with Mr. Quinn, we felt comfortable. The job we were undertaking was major for us and we wanted to make sure we did it right. During the first meeting we went over our "wish list" asking for everything we wanted. He came back with a detailed quote for all the three levels of siding installation he could do. We made our decision to put in the high end siding to keep our house looking like the shingles that were on it from the 1920's. We also wanted a tri color scheme (siding, trim, and an accent color). He brought us color choices so we could choose the ones we liked, even returning when one color was not available in the shade we wanted so that we could choose from the selections available. At no time during these meetings did we feel pressured into any fast decisions. When the work actually started, the two workers were incredible!!! Each day they arrived on time, worked throughout the day and at the end of the workday cleaned up the area entirely. They were friendly and each morning told me what their plan was for that day. Each day, when my wife came home and she would look over the progress they would chat with her, even showing her what they had planned for the special trim which they fabricated on site. We began to know them as the "A team" as they were far and away beyond what we could have ever imagined for professionals. For the three weeks they were onsite we never once were concerned with any aspect of their work. While wrapping up the last few days they worked diligently to finish before a big family event we were hosting even though we assured them we would be fine. Outstanding people. When they left on the last day, we knew we were going to miss their daily banter! Upon completion of the entire job, Mr. Quinn stopped by to go around the entire house checking each detail of the job before he gave us the final invoice. We would recommend Quinn's Installation services to anyone hoping for the best product installed by the best people.

I chose not to have Mr. Quinn do the job for a couple of reasons. 1) He arrived two hours late to an appointment he chose the time for. 2) The job involved siding a garage which has fiberglas light panels under the eaves. I am sure that this is different than the majority of garages that Mr. Quinn has sided in the past. I told him what I wanted done, and he was unhappy he could not use his standard process. (I have researched this thoroughly, it it would be one step simpler than the standard window finish.) I needed someone who was flexible enough to work with something he had not seen before. I would not recommend this company if there is something special or unusual about your job.

We were given a date of delivery of products. All came on that date. We were given a starting date and approximate finish, but, they started and finished right on dates. The men were respectful of all our property. The finished product was beautiful and the price was the price. We had already used them once before on another home seven years ago.

We have used them before. We had used them for siding and windows. We know them. They were very professional, they really did a good job.

Willy Quinn came on time for the initial walkthrough and bid; when I accepted the contract, he returned on 4/14/14 to measure and answered questions and outlined the procedure. I obtained the building permit required where I live and the windows were manufactured and scheduled for installation 5/19/14. Willy arrived with windows and two installers shortly after 8:00 am as scheduled. The team of two worked until after 4:00 pm when they replaced the last strip of wood trim around an upstairs window. All work was done carefully to keep trim intact and they were able to work from the outside for the removal of old windows and install the new units so no interior woodwork was disturbed. The men were courteous, cheerful and as unobstrusive as possible. They removed all old windows and screens, cleaned up and cautioned me to let dry the small amount of caulk in places around some of the windows so it would peel off rather than smear. One of them noticed a small tear in one screen and said to tell Willy. When Willy stopped by at the end of the day to give me the warantee and get payment, I showed him the screen. He took it and said he would get it repaired and five days later it was in place when I returned home from errands. My son, an audio engineer, noted that vehicles passing can barely be heard now. So nice to have clear windows which easily tilt for cleaning and raise and lower smoothly.
