The whole job went well. Shawn and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time, did the work and cleaned up afterwards. I was very satisfied and would recommend Purvis, Inc. to my friends and neighbors.

We are very pleased with all the stages of working with Purvis Home Improvement. From the 1st step of making contact, the estimate process and the actual work, Shawn Purvis and his crew were very professional, friendly and accommodating. The job took 2 days and the clean up after each day was awesome! The 1st day was 98 degrees and the second day it had cooled down to 94 degrees!! The heat never slowed them down, and our new roof & gutters look amazing! Two days after the job was completed we awoke to a torrential down pour and it was wonderful to see the new gutters carrying the water away. When our house was built no gutters were put on. After purchasing it and going through several years of New England weather it was great to walk out and not get drenched from the water flowing off the roof onto your head. Putting the gutters up was one of those, we should do that someday, jobs. With our roof shingles needing to be replaced the timing was right to have Shawn & his crew do the complete job, gutters and all. We are very happy to have finally done it! and we are happy that through Angie's List we were able to find such a great contractor as Purvis Home improvement! We would highly recommend Purvis Home Improvement to anyone in need of work on their home. They take pride in doing a great job and the job is not done till the customer is satisfied. We will be looking to use Purvis Home Improvement again when the need arises.

Went well after explanation of problems. Survey then service was explained and the job was accepted.

Shawn was sincere and polite. Did what he said in the time he needed. Followed up and reasonably priced.

I like that the owner did the estimate instead of someone that works for him. He was willing to come and do the estimate later that day and within 24 hours he dropped it off. I received the estimate in a nice folder with samles, his business card and a copy of his insurance. He doesn't require a down payment like the other estimates. Although his price wasn't the lowest it wasn't the highest either and I decided to go with him as I felt he was able to do the job and do it correctly and I like that I didn't have to give him a down payment. The owner Shawn was at the job site with his employees and he worked along side of them. They were very prompt in the morning and the roof was done and cleaned up by the time I got home from work. The price I was told for an estimate was exactly what I paid. Overall my experience was great.

He will not come and look to assess the damage. He has never even been on the roof. He does not know what is being done. There is no warranty on the roof. We have upper siding issues, our attic is moldy from water damage, he did not do a drip edge and he did not do starter strip. He just took shingles and put them upside down. He went straight up the roof; they did not stagger the shingles. The directions do say if it is not installed correctly it voids the warranty.
