I have used this company for over 5 years for both my home and rental units. They are the best. Honest, fast, clean. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

First off, Muller Plumbing is probably the most polite and professional company I've worked with in Maine. I'd forgotten, but I'd had Kurt service our furnace in an old house before we moved many years ago. When it came to the new house, we continued with the people that had serviced the furnace for the old owner but weren't impressed. I found another guy who just charged me a ton of money and didn't solve a problem I'd had. Finally, I signed up for Angie's List and (re)found Muller Plumbing. I'd lost their card and forgotten completely that they were the same people. When Kurt got here, he remembered our dogs and I realized it was the same fellow we liked so much back in Old Orchard. I'd called Kurt out for a problem I'd been having with a T*** timer and he came right away, despite the fact that it was dead in the middle of the winter crunch. He was out the next morning. Not only that, but he took one look at the problem, showed me how it was actually just something I misunderstood and didn't really need to fix and didn't charge me for the visit. In a world where customer service is as rare as a free lunch, when does that ever happen? I immediately scheduled him out to do the maintenance and his office fit me into his schedule in short order. The people in the office are extremely friendly and professional. Kurt came out, performed the overdue service (I'd let it go too long after the bad experience with the last guy) and secured my business for the rest of the time we live in this area. I can't recommend Muller Plumbing highly enough. I just wish every business would operate with as much integrity and courtesy as they do.

Well oddly, Mr. Muller does the work very well and he's courteous and such but he's VERY busy. We never had but one emergency and he showed up late at night and addressed the problem. We don't want to give a bad rating because he is VERY concerned to do the right thing for the right price. It's just that you can't be in a hurry for him to come work if it's not an emergency because that isn't likely to happen. Another somewhat aggravating but contradictory issue is the fact that we couldn't get him to send us a bill for all this work he was doing. We were concerned that we were going over our budget because we couldn't get him to tell us what we owed him. It's nice not to get the bill when you know what you owe, but when you don't and you need additional work you are sort of hesitant to call him because you have no idea what you already owe him. He did tell us he charged $80/hour and we did keep his hours so we could GUESS what we owed but , you know, when you are working with someone new you don't know if they will stick to their bid or not. He's really a great guy and he does excellent work, it would just be better if he was a bit more organized in his business.

I called at 3:00 pm and was offered a time slot of 8:00 pm that evening or 7:00 am the following day. Mr. Muller showed up exactly on time, took the time to discuss the system with me, and was finished in about 1-1/2 hours. He was very conscious of picking up after the work was done, was very personable, and was willing to take the time to discuss various options.

We were very happy with this company. We are new to the area and have been having great luck finding professional people to do the work need on our home. Mueller is another name on our A-list. We are also going to have him take care of the plumbing when we remodel our kitchen and bath in the future.
