installation day began with the installer 2.5 hours late. once he arrived he started. after about 2 hours he said he had a family emergency to attend to and could he leave early and return at noon the next day to finish. i said sure, no problem. well the next day he arrived at 3pm. no phone call, no communication with myself or the store. when he did show up he didn't finish. so the next morning he shows at 7 am and since the door was locked he climbed in a window without my permission. once the job was completed my wife and i went to take a look. the bathroom looked good, but the kitchen not so much. it was the wrong floor!! i immediately went to the store to discuss the situation. i will have to say that i have never been treated with so much disrespect and lack of compassion than in that store, and this was from the owner!! both my wife and i showed the staff our choices that we picked and the one that was installed. they all denied that we picked that one and that it was too bad. there was no talk of what can we do to make it better or how can we help. nothing. basically you are stuck with it because i signed the order sheet. i trusted them to order the correct product. so my advice would be to not use this company for your remodel or flooring plans. they didn't seem to care what happened. i was more than accomadateing to the installers family issues and the job took 2 extra days to install the wrong floor!! i would look elsewhere if i were to do it again
Description of Work: had two floors installed on a rental property, kitchen and bath. initially the free estimate and eval was done in a timely fashion and without issue. we then moved to the store to pick out the flooring after looking at many samples. i called to order the flooring and when it arrived i went to the store to sign the order. so far in this timeline things seemed to go fine. once installation was scheduled it all went down hill! it is hard to list all the problems and issues that happend and how disrespectful we were treated by the company in this review, but i will give you my honest opinion in hopes that future customers will take a hard look and their options. see below for full story.

The sales experience was a good one. No pressure they allowed me to browse and ask questions. I narrowed down my choices and was able to bring home a large sample. The price for the quality was good for the material itself. The quality of the final product was 1st rate. After I decided to buy and brought in a floor-plan, with dimensions of my area to be done, the installation estimate took on a new life. After handing me the estimate for the installation He then asked if I would have the funiture moved and the carpet removed before the installers arrived. He quoted $200 for carpet removal and $75 to move furniture per room also Quater rounds or baseboard would be extra. Basically I felt a bit nickle and dimed over the installation. Consider that they used my floor plan and they did not have to spend the time an money to send out a estimator. Also they were offering a weekend at sugar loaf promotion, I don't ski and the inn doesn't get good reviews at all so I won't be using it. I would have happily passed if they threw in the carpet removal or 1/4 rounds. They never called to say the product was in. I had to make contact. They never called to confirm installation date I had to do that.. Said installers would arrive between 8-10am. A bit of a gap on a work day. On installation day every thing went really well. The installers arrived on time, They were very professional, personable and did great work. They came back a few days later to finish a couple transition pieces, which had to be reordered. they arrived early and finished up quickly. The installers were great. I'm not sure how other companies handle carpet removal, moving of furniture and baseboard & quarter rounds....but its a question to ask up front. I'd use again but with more questions about the installation price earlier on.
