IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE AND WE ARE KICKING OURSELVES THAT WE DID NOT LOOK INTO THE INTERNET BEFORE WE PUT DOWN SO MUCH MONEY ($4367). AGAIN, THEY NEVER EVEN ORDERED OUR COAL STOVE AND IT HAS BEEN MONTHS SINCE THEY PROMISED DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION. DO NOT TRUST MAINE-LY STOVES FOR ANYTHING.
Description of Work: MY WIFE AND I PAID $4367 FOR A COAL STOVE IN MAY (05/11) WITH A PROMISE TO DELIVER AND INSTALL SOMETIME DURING THE SUMMER. AFTER MANY EXCUSES AND NO DELIVERY AND NO RETURN OF MONEY, WE TYPED "MAINE-LY STOVES" INTO GOOGLE. WE FOUND OUT MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF IN A SIMILAR MANNER. WE ALSO FOUND OUT FROM THE POLICE THAT THE STOVE HAD NEVER EVEN BEEN ORDERED. IT'S NOW 9/19/11 AND WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING IN TOUCH WITH ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY MAINE-LY STOVES AND GOING TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND/OR AN ATTORNEY. DO NOT GO TO MAINE-LY STOVES FOR ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE. THEY WILL ASK YOU TO PAY UPFRONT AND THEN NOT THEY WILL DO OR DELIVER NOTHING.
