About us

Travis Wilson founded Wilson Construction in 2011, and he has been working in the excavation trade since 2004. We primarily serve the Knox County area, but we consistently work in the surrounding Lincoln and Waldo Counties. We take pride in doing high quality work and hiring skilled workers who enjoy what they do, whether that is lawn care, stonework, or excavation. We put out a better product because of our employees. Many of our customers and subcontractors have told us that they can’t believe our attention to detail and how meticulous we are. Our initial off-hand response was, “There’s only one way to do things, and that’s the right way.” In hindsight, that’s been our motto from the beginning, and it has since become our unofficial slogan. We pride ourselves on producing high quality work in a timely manner. We approach each new project with fresh eyes and an open mind to do what best suits the property and the customer.
