I needed to have work done on my driveway prior to the onset of Winter and time was getting short. So I called George C Hall & Sons and spoke with Jamie Hall. Jamie presented himself in a professional manner when he came over to my house, he spent time measuring and taking notes and he provided me with a bid for the work within a week. He was able to fit me into his busy schedule so the work was finished prior to the onset of Winter (with the exception of landscaping which will occur in the Spring of 2015.) I had 3 companies bid on this job. The bid from Geo C Hall was in the middle, I considered it to be a fair price. As in any job, there is always the possibility of glitches occurring. In this case there were a few issues with subsidence where top soil migrated beneath the surface, creating small holes. I notified Jamie of the issue when it appeared and he was quick to respond, correcting the problem in a few days. Overall I was pleased with the job done, the heavy equipment operator that used the excavator made it look easy. I was very impressed with the level of skill involved. .
