Matt Barter Painting

Matt came over the house and gave me an estimate and told me that if the paint did not cover, he may have to add a third coat. I had to have a rug installed and he worked with me on establishing a date so that he could start the job after the rug was installed. He started the job on the date we agreed upon (11/12) and finished on schedule. It turned out that a third coat was not necessary. He and his assistant did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Matt was punctual, seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Indicated he would send colors/prices in a couple of days. Did not hear back from him. If too busy that should be communicated, as I would have hired him.

Matt did a wonderful job. He is professional and thorough. We will hire him again.........soon.

Matt exceed all of our expectations. He was professional, courteous, prompt, efficient, tidy, and expert with the paint brush. We have an infant and pre-schooler at home. Matt was great with them. He effortlessly worked around our hectic morning routine. Even though he ended up doing more work than originally agreed upon, he only charged us the original estimate (including supplies). We would recommend Matt to any of our friends or neighbors, and hire him back in an instant!

He came over on a Wednesday night to take a look and give me an estimate. I called him the next Friday to give him the go ahead to do it, and he started the next Tuesday and worked parts of Tuesday and Wednesday, then finished by Friday. I originaly painted the ceilings myself about 7 years ago, but when he re-painted them this time they came out way better. I have a lot of windows, doors and cabinets in this area, so cutting in isn't easy but it all came out very neat and clean.

Matt was professional and friendly from estimate to completion of the job. Himself a fine arts painter and sculptor, he brought an artist's eye and attention to detail to the work. He did more than was asked for (minor repairs to radiators and woodwork) and was a pleasure to have in our home-- completely trustworthy and reliable. We are delighted with the result-- our bedrooms never looked so good! We recommend him without reservation.
