Fine - he came, cleaned the drain, and left.

They were very good and I would use them again.

I called on 11/21 and a very nice young lady called back within 2 hours. She set up an appointment for the next day for the work to be done.

He came and saw what was need with the toilet tank flapper, the lead faucet leak in the bathroom and the leak in the kitchen faucet and worked very well in fixing the problem. All was fixed and we would use him again. Excellent.

Loved that they were quick to respond - were at my business within 10 minutes of their return phone call to me. Sherrie and Ken are both extremely professional and super nice! I hope to not have to call a plumber again, but if I do, I'm definitely calling them!

Overall, this was a very professional job. Ken even made sure that he cleaned his boots every time he came in. He even offered to remove them!!

Very well! he was very prompt, even called to say he would come early.He worked very fast, did exactly what I wanted and listened to me - he noticed another issue offered other services in a helpful way without pressuring me, and briefly looked at a future project and was able to give some advice. I feel very good about having Ken back in the future for other issues.

They called me right back when I called and they were able to come within a day. He arrived when he said he would come and he was very pleasant. He made sure to walk through everything with me that I had called about to make sure he knew what I was expecting. He did all of the work within 3 or 4 hours. It was terrific and it was a very good experience. So far everything has been good. I didn't get competitive prices but it was fine. I would absolutely use him again.

Ken arrived on time and was patient while I pulled things together on my day off ( and I forgot he was coming so I overslept) He worked so hard to alleviate the problem. It took longer than expected and was more involved. He was great, fast and focused. I know he did his best and was a very amicable guy. i would recommend him to my mother and that says it all. Best plumber I ever had work on my house. He was great. Hire him.

It went well given the difficulty of the task. multiple pipes had snapped due to age while trying to remove the trap myself to trace a clog. When the waste pipe began to crumble, I realized the fact that it was so far back inside the wall that replacing it was beyond my ability. That's when I called for help. Ken came the same day and did an excellent job using the existing pipe with minimal damage to the surrounding wall.

He does a great job every time he comes out to my house. His wife actually calls to let me know when he will be there or if he is running late. It's great.

Both jobs went well. Ken and Sherrie Curlew of Wayne's Plumbing have been very responsive and helpful.

Over the past year I had issues with one sink, then another, then a toilet, then the bathtub. I didn't know who I could trust so I just adapted to my mal-functioning home. Finally, after a positive first experience with a company selected through Angie's List, and the discovery of a second bathroom faucet in need of repair, I searched Angie's list for a plumber in the Greater Portland area, read reviews, then called Wayne's Plumbing and Heating. I am very glad that I did call Wayne's. The phone was answered by a very pleasant Sherrie Curlew. Her husband Ken Curlew, Wayne's son, was the plumber who appeared at my front door shortly after 8:00 one Monday morning. Ken drove a van which identified Wayne's Plumbing. He also wore a clean uniform which identified him as bring with Wayne's Plumbing. The truck and uniform immediately told me that he was a professional. Ken worked non-stop during the two-and-one-half hours he was in my home. I felt he answered my questions honestly and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He explained how to properly use the new garbage disposal. I certainly will call Wayne's Plumbing the next time I have a plumbing issue.

The leak occured on Thanksgiving Day. Since it was a holiday, I waited until the next day to call a plumber. I tried calling two other plumbers. One never called back, and the other called but stated they were closed. Waynes Plumbing and Heating called back within an hour, and had a plumber to my house within 90 minutes. Ken explained what had happened and what was needed. He proceeded with the work and was done within an hour. I also asked a questions about work I was considering having done in my bathroom. He took the time to explain what was needed. He was pleasent, polite, and curteous. I would definately use him again.

My house guest dropped her mother's ring into the bathroom sink and it went down the drain. Wayne was there promptly after a call to the office and retrieved the ring. My friend was ever so grateful to have the heirloom ring back. I truly appreciate how quickly he came to rescue the ring from the drain.

Absolutely great. Dick Curlew arrived right on time. His services were professional in every respect as the job was completed as promised. He was cordial, personable and helpful. While in my cellar, I asked if he knew whom I could contact to remove an old electric water heater tank (easily 250 lbs in weight) from the cellar. Shortly before he was done with the plumbing job, he volunteered to remove the tank (with my help) at no charge. In doing so, my indoor cat "escaped" from the cellar bulkhead. Dick took the time to capture my cat, who had headed for the woods. Since I was not yet ready to bring in the new refrigerator that day, Dick said that he would come back and connect the water line when I was ready to do so at no additional cost. Great guy! Good work! The cost was exactly as quoted...a total of $325 less than another local plumber had estimated.

I scheduled an appointment to have Kenny from this crew come out and give me an estimate to have natural gas piping installed in my condo for a flash hot water heater. I scheduled it about a week ahead of time. Sadly, on the day of the estimate, Kenny never showed up! Not even a call to say he couldn't make it. Dont waste your time with these jokers.

Our water meter horn started leaking last night ? spraying all over the basement. I was able to shut off the water to the house and stop the leak. I called their number and paged them and within FIVE minutes I received a call back. Ken was willing to come out immediately to fix it, but I chose to wait until the morning. He showed up first thing in the morning and had the problem fixed in just a few minutes. Turns out the water company installed our meter improperly and PWD should be reimbursing us for the bill. Extremely fast service. We were more than impressed.

Excellent service. Returned call same day to set up appointment. Came by to view job, sent written estimate within days, was able to schedule work soon after, showed up when he said he would, did the work quickly and professionally, cleaned up after, came back a few months later to adjust water flow in toilet. Would highly recommend.

I called their office number on Thursday afternoon and left voicemail. About 7:00 PM I got a call from them asking for more details and if we could possibly wait until Monday. I said "of course", and we agreed on a 10:30 AM Monday appointment. He arrived exactly on time, assessed the plumbing and toilet, and told me it was a faulty toilet seal. He quoted a price of about $90.00 for the repair. He then fixed it immediately. 30 minutes later my problems were solved!

work was very thorough, done the next day. got follow-up call to check on work. excellent service. fixed a problem 3 other plumbers worked on superficially but failed to fix.

I had been putting off a number of small plumbing jobs thinking that eventually I would get to them. As it was the number of these small repairs kept accumulating and I called Wayne's Plumbing. I had left a message and was called that afternoon and set up an appointment for 3 days later. That morning Ken was running a little late and he called to let me know. When he arrived he listened to my itemization and then went right to work. When finished he gave me an itemized list of the work done and the parts used. Total materials cost was about $95 dollars and the additional 2 hours labor at $75/hour was the total of my bill. We were so satisfied with his work on this first visit that two weeks later we called him for some additional work that would fit under the category of "new" rather than repair. I have every intention of using his services again for any of my future plumbing needs.
