+ -1 moreProfessional and competent. He did a good job. One piece of glued-down trim has come unglued since, and there has been some shrinkage/pulling apart of the wood trim during the winter. Ideally, that wouldn't happen, but we do live in Maine where it's extremely dry in the winter.This is hard -- though not, I think, completely impossible -- to prevent.
Description of Work: Trim carpentry, molding around a new wood floor.

+ 0 moreThey did an excellent job. The joints are very well done and the work seemed to be meticulous. They were professional. It was not an aggressive price but it was a fair price for the product they delivered.
Description of Work: I used Straight To Finish to install some baseboard molding. It involved painting.

+ 5 moreSaridel has restored what little faith I had in contractors. From start to finish he was completely reliable, efficient and honest. His work was always clean, he was there everyday at 7:30 and still there when I got home at 4:00 sometimes later if he needed to be. He always communicated with me regarding progress or any issues etc. Never went ahead with anything that would add on to the cost of the project without going over it with me first and searching out the cheapest but most effective option. The end product was amazing and I am constantly getting compliments on my new bathroom! His attention to detail and pride in his work was very refreshing after the amount of lazy sketchy contractors I have dealt with in the past year!!
Description of Work: Had current bathroom completely gutted and expanded, demo'd walls and framed new ones out, framed out two closets, hung drywall, installed bathroom fixtures and appliances.
